"No need."

 

"Why do you think that?" Praecantatia asks, curious.

 

"I am an illegitimate being. My nullfield is time; as long as I hold the blades, side effects are impossible."

 

"You were born by time paradox?" Praecantatia asks, studying Sivius through her goggles.

 

"Yes. Not even my reality's god of time has any power over me."

 

"Well, if you ever wish to stop wandering out of time, the Goddess of Life, Gaia, may be able to grant you legitimacy. You walk a dangerous path, Sivius." Praecantatia says.

 

"I already spoke with her. She knew I had the question in mind, but I did not ask. I will not ask. I am who I am, and if fate claims me for it, then that's the way it shall be." He says. "Time flows at a baseline around me. It is dangerous, but so is life."

 

"You are bold in your choices, however, like paradoxium, if your timeline is ever fixed, you shall no longer be." Praecantatia says, a coin appearing and disappearing as it rolls through her fingers.

 

"That is why I take the path I have." Sivius says, turning to leave.

 

Praecantatia brings up a crystal screen next to her, interacting with it as she telekinetically holds up the capsule Sivius entered in and picks up Sivius, placing him inside and putting the top back on. Praecantatia places the capsule back in the tube in the back of her desk, before pressing a button on the crystal screen which causes Sivius to be sucked back through the system of tubes.

 

Sivius waves goodbye as he goes back to just holding himself upright.

 

Praecantatia waves back, smiling, before Sivius is left to the darkness of the tubes.

Sivius is eventually deposited outside the tree, the capsule rolling down a root before stopping in the grass, the capsule's orignal halves splitting apart.

 

Sivius decides to watch the golems for a few minutes.

 

The golems walk around idly, tending to the plants and animals on the islands. One of the golems picks up an injured bird, it's wing broken, looking at it confused for a bit. The golem chimes a few strange notes, before making it's way back to the tree with the injured bird.

 

Sivius opts to leave, checking to see if Precantatia retrieved her sickle on his way out.

 

One of the golems Sivius passes carries the sickle back to the large tree, holding in gently.

On the way out, Sivius sees what appears to be Fia sitting in the grass, the wind blowing her hair, let loose from her pigtails.

 

Sivius stops and turns to her.
"I thought you were a digital being." He says.

 

"Hm? I am." Fia says, her tone a little less ecstatic than usual.

 

"Just a hologram out here?"

 

Fia nods, running her hands through the grass. Her hands phase right through, not even affecting the grass.

Fia sighs, looking upwards toward the sky.
