(Yeah. Pyroblast could kill you or someone else. Otherwise, you can use Explosion Rune and yes, you have to set it where you want to. It will go off when you are a far away from the rune too)

Explosion Rune: Cast a rune that explodes on contact. It would kill most on contact, but it has a bright red glow. Making it obvious to stay away.
