Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The waiter soon returns to the table, bringing two platefuls of spaghetti and meatballs.

"Do enjoy your meal, madam, sir." The waiter says, before leaving.

"Wow, this looks really good." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling.

 

"Thank you." Sivius tells the waiter before nodding in agreement with Shadow Stephanie, starting to eat.

 

"I don't feel as though there's much of a reason to stay, is all."

 

Shadow Stephanie begins to eat as Sivius does, managing to keep herself almost completely clean, eating quietly. Shadow Stephanie occasionally pauses to take a sip of wine before continuing with her meal.

 

"True." She says, after a pause.

Sivius matches suit, inadvertantly finishing about the same time Shadow Stephanie does.

 

"That was quite delicious, wouldn't you agree?" Shadow Stephanie asks happily, cleaning her mouth with a napkin.

 

"What are we waiting for, again?"

 

Sivius does the same.
"It was pretty good. I've nothing to compare it to, though."

 

"Would you like anything for dessert?" Shadow Stephanie asks, smiling.

 

"Good morning, Miss." I say.

 

"Again, I'll just follow your lead."

"Huh? Oh, you're back. Morning." She utters.

 

"May we order apple crumble slices for dessert?" Shadow Stephanie asks when the waiter returns to collect the plates.

"You may, madam." The waiter says, collecting the plates and cutlery, soon returning and placing a spoon in front of Shadow Stephanie and Sivius.

"Is there anything you want to know about me? I feel like I've asked a lot about you and your adventures." Shadow Stephanie asks, smiling.

 

"Not really. It's still a bit early, no? Plus, your gods seem curious about me... it may be a good idea to run me through those introductions first."

 

"You mean, introduce you to the gods?" Shadow Stephanie asks nervously, taking a sip of wine.

 

"If I'm going to be spending time with you, we don't want gods watching our every move, do we?" He reasons. "Just get it out of the way."

 

"Well, um, I can't really contact the gods. I can only really speak to Tenebrae, and she very rarely actually responds." Shadow Stephanie says sadly, sipping her wine.

 

"I can do my rounds." He says calmly, finishing his wine.

 

"If you can visit the gods, I'd love to come with you." Shadow Stephanie says, smiling. Shadow Stephanie finishes her wine before pouring both Sivius and herself another glass.

The waiter returns to the table, placing two plates with piping hot, large slices of apple crumble.

"Enjoy, Sir, Madam." The waiter says, nodding to Sivius and Shadow Stephanie.

 

"I'll see to it you come, sans Lux." Sivius says, starting on his dessert.

 

"I'd probably need to be with Tenebrae if I wanted to meet him." Shadow Stephanie says, giggling lightly as she cuts out a piece of her apple crumble and blows on it to cool it down.
