*I look suprised at the group*

 

"Oh well , thats a really strange thing to say but , heh , im being swarmed by "some" ball-heads . I would ask how is life but ye , ball-heads . Could you help me with the doors and windows?" I ask as going to the closest door and locking it the best i can with what i can find "Oh and sorry about ... Eeer ... You got what i mean" i say as i point to my neck and after that my whole body .

 

"What do we do?" A Feldurim asks. The human soldiers from Aurallim grip their weapons, nervous. "Do we break the barrier or reinforce it?"

There are still some lesser demons left, though.

The leader draws his sword and readies it. He then thinks for a moment.

"You are strong in darkness, human." He says. He then sheathes his sword. "We will retreat for now. Take the bodies of the soldiers: they attacked us first." He turns and flicks his hand to the others. The demons take out black metal objects, which they throw at the corpses of their comrades. The bodies disappear at contact, and the black objects fly back to the demons' hands.

Jack, confused by the sudden change, still does not relax.

I won't rather kill my own kind after they have surrendered. Xiudar says.

Zeisha smiles. She seems more relaxed. "It's alright. Those ball-heads, as you call them, are F-class: they can't do harm to this inn. The Kolos, they are called."

The old man opens one eye. "Guard Emily. I remember you."

Emily grins. "I'm surprised you do, Healer Darwin." She turns to Rathius. "Sorry we interrupted you." Then she sees the boy on the bed. "Hey... is that kid alright?"

 

*I look at the boy*
Rathius:"He fell from a pretty big hight and hit the ground, but somehow he's not doing that bad."

 

"Well thats a really nice thing to know , despite i made my horse run away since i didnt know what they where . Soo do i still need to block this up? I mean , there are at least a thousand of them . But ye , i guess it would be good to you to tell me why you are here and ill do the same" I say as i throw myself at the nearest chair , completely mentally exhausted

 

"Well, assuming we want to stop her break it but if we want to contain the monster we should reinforce it."

You said there was 3 then I killed two, but whatever. I won't argue with the GM ^^

*in Our head* "fine."

*not in Our head* "Yeah you better retreat."

I then turn to the riders to see their reaction to all of this. After all they've been rather passive lately XD


And BTW my phone will be taken from me in 30 min ^^

 

"Yay! I'm going to run away from here before I pass out..." I run away in the opposite direction of the Balrog.

 

"What just happened?" I ask. "Who are..?"

 

I flee with you, trying to stay on my feet.

 

*I look at the young boy in the robes.*
Rathius:"The name is Rathius, kid."

 

"Oh. Hello, Rathius. Sorry, I was just a little... Startled. There's a lot on my mind. Anyway, I feel a bit better now."

 

"We should reinforce the barrier, then when the time is right we attack."

 

Vysticia and the Rogues run down the corridors very quietly; they were, after all, trained in stealth. Vysticia peers out of a window. It wasn't that high: in fact, it was only a second floor. They have knocked the soldiers out and reclaimed their stuff.

Vysticia nods and quietly opens the window. She suddenly turns, drawing her dagger in the process.

A hand grab Vysticia's wrist, and other on her mouth. Vysticia comes face to face with the Dullahan, Seth.

Sylvia frowns. "What's wrong?"

Vysticia glares at Seth. The dark haired monster in guise of a young boy smiles faintly. Shadow engulfs his body- then he appears in front of the Rogues. Sylvia stifles a cry, and the other Rogues draw their weapon.

Vysticia sighs. "This is Seth, a Dullahan. He gave us the key."

"Wha...?" Ben starts to say, when Seth suddenly lifts his hand. He stays quiet, then tells the Rogues, "Soldiers are coming. Quick!"

Vysticia nods. Without hesitation the Rogues, one by one, jumps out of the window. Ben, Sylvia, Hasher, Vysticia and Seth are still inside when the window suddenly snaps close.

They whirl around. An army magician, talking in Gahzom rak Feldur (magical language of the Feldurim) comes walking down with many soldiers. He stops chanting. Ben tries the window, but it does not budge.

A large man pushes his way in front of the Rogues. Houst, the captain.

"He turns and cries at the soldiers, "Go chase the others!" Once most of them have gone, the captain turns back. He starts to say something, when Seth steps in front of the four Rogues.

Houst's eyes widen. "S-scythe Setalorn?"

Seth stays expressionless. "Human. You shall not lay your hands on these children."

Houst knows him? Vysticia thinks. But Seth is a monster...

"But..." Houst complains. "They're criminals!" From the way he talks, Vysticia can hear the distaste the man has towards the Dullahan.

"I have chosen this one..." Seth points at Vysticia. "...as my apprentice. I know you Aurallians are trying to end the line of the Scythes: it shall not be so."

Houst's jaws drop. Vysticia cries, "Wait, I haven't heard about this...!"

Seth says quietly, ignoring Vysticia. "Remove the charges against them. The others, shall also come with me."

Houst looks up at the Dullahan with hate. He grits his teeth, then mutters, "As you with."

 

I flee into strong winds so that she may not find me

 

Emily frowns. "The boy fell from a big height?"

Rathius purses his lips. He had said too much.

"What is that on your cheek?" Max asks lightly.

Rathius unthinkingly pulls up the scarf to hide his dragon marks. But the damage has been done.

"You're a dragon?" Rondach has mutters.

"Nah." Zeisha says. "I'll scare them away."

She jumps out of a window at the back. Black and red energy explodes outside the inn, and the laughing sounds of the Kolos abruptly stop. There is knocking on the front door: the wide eyed young man at the counter opens the door to let Zeisha back in. Tisaun sees one Kolo sneaking past the door: Zeisha reaches down, grabs the ball, and throws it outside.

She sits down in a chair in front of Tisaun. The people in the inn goes back to whatever they were doing.

"I've gathered a lot of information in three days." Zeisha says.

"What?" Tisaun stands up. "Three days?"

"Yes. You've been unconscious for the whole time?" Zeisha says, looking confused. Tisaun nods. The vampire leans back in her chair. "I guess that that's the consequence for a human using magic without training."

"Anyways, I've managed to learn a lot of the Witch's Cult."

 

The Feldurims start to chant magical incarnations, with Narkel summoning tree nymphs to support the spell. The Feldurims' eyes flash open. "The barrier's gone!"

"What!?" Luratos says. Jenna pokes her finger at where the barrier should've been. Nothing happens.

"Shit." Ilcia says.

The traitor Feldurim turns around as he reaches the Witch, who starts to chant quietly. The man's eyes flash green; then he starts to transform. He grows shorter, his hair turning dark green and longer. In a flash of light, a girl takes the place of the Feldurim. Her green hair covers half of her face, and is unkept. She wears a simple, dark green dress that runs down to her knees. She holds a falchion in one hand.

"Envy." Kendel says. The others look at the woodelf. "Luratos said the Witch's Sins have colours. Envy is green, right?"

The Witch stops chanting. She steps forward into the ring.

Red energy bursts upwards, into the sky. The Witch is engulfed in the energy. An unearthly screech echoes around the ruins.

 

*I look at Rondach*
Rathius(starteled):"T-they are just some scars I got earlier, nothing big."

 

The air clears. Lust and the cultists are gone: they have disappeared during the explosion.

An arrow whizzes past Ventus. He lets his tornado deflect it. The dark skinned Amazon, the one who made the first shot, aims her bow upwards at Ventus. She shouts, "Lend me power, Fairy Linava!"

The arrow shines with green light. It shoots towards Ventus, who tries to dodge it. It explodes, and a small shape, like a butterfly, shoots at Ventus. It takes a form of a tiny human with butterfly wings. The fairy enters the tornado without being affected by the wind. She touches Ventus's form in the centre, and Ventus falls to the ground, back in his human shape.

The other Amazons come out of their hiding and starts towards Ventus.

The demon turns back. "Remember this: I am not at my height of power. Remember this name: Jarzm."

He raises his hand, and shadow engulfs them. Jack frowns. The demon had control over both fire and shadow elements?

He turns back at the soldiers. The lead boy sighs. "It seems like we've been helped by you, demon. I thank you for it."

"I find that hard to believe." Asakeryu mutters. "Why hide it?"

In the distance, they hear sounds of hundreds of iron boots thudding against the stone floor. They see a big dwarven rank coming towards them, weapons ready.

And uh, @Poiu429 @sonickid3003 , if you don't join soon it will be way harder for you to be involved in the events surrounding the Witch's Cult
