    Also, just a suggestion: adding some subtle grain in the colors and lines adds some extra kick to the effect! Here's an example Screenshot_20170405-094713.png

    Whoops, I forgot to comment earlier, silly me
    I really like the style of this! It reminds me of my own style since it's cartoony
    More people should go for a cartoony style than realism tbh, it's a lot more fun and usually is a lot simpler to do while still managing to look good

    Making it graphite/powdering? It seems like a good idea.

    I believe I have some pre-made watercolour brushes for that.
