Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Correct, you don't have my name." She says, weary. "Can you get back to me in the morning?"

"I am."

"Not really, no."

 

Crystal seems content with the answer.
"So, what exactly are your blades? They're clearly powerful and all, but..."

"Alright."
I walk away, towards Xelentia's sight.

 

"Legend has it they're the remains of our homeworld's sun and moon. They guide their wielders to... hell if I know... but it's a hell of a story to tag along with them."

Seeing as she's asleep, that won't do any good.

 

"Ugh, you damaged my armour!" Abigail says, peeved.

"I know a few people who can repair it for you. Don't sweat it." Shadow Stephanie says calmly.

"Can they sew up my shirt?" Abigail asks, taking off her helmet and gauntlets, before taking off her chestplate.

"No, but I can just ask a tailor to sew it up for you." Shadow Stephanie says, being literal and smirking.

"Thanks, Stephanie." Abigail says, taking off her torn, bloodsoaked shirt.

"...I'll get this washed too." Shadow Stephanie says, offering Abigail a replacement shirt so she isn't left topless.

Abigail puts on the shirt. The shirt appears to be dark black, a white skull with a knife through it on it's front. The sleeves of the shirt are a lot shorter than Abigail's previous one, showing most of her arms as opposed to just her hands.

"Edgy." Abigail says flatly as Shadow Stephanie picks up her chestplate and flame shirt, disappearing shortly after.

 

Sivius keeps quiet.

 

Abigail slips her helmet back on, lying back. Slight music can be heard from Abigail's helmet as Abigail gazes skyward.

 

Sivius glances at her.
"I envy you."

 

Abigail turns off her music.

"Why?" She asks, looking at Sivius, her tone as if Sivius had just told a joke.

 

"You know what to do in your leisure time."

 

"Oh," Abigail says, sounding a little surprised, "Yeah. I just chill. I guess it's sort of ironic in a way."

 

"I seldom have free time. I just look for duels in the meantime, not like I've found an opponent who can equal me yet, though." He says. "It'd be great to lose to someome, then be able to learn from them."

 

"Don't let your head get too large while you look for them." Abigail says casually.

 

"If I did, I'd be killed by my own blades." He says flatly.

 

"That's what happens." Abigail says acceptingly.

 

"Remains? Like, you guys don't have a sun or moon?"

Going back up on Xelentia, I look around for the bird from before to see if it came.

 

"It's easy when you carry what kills you for stepping out of line."

"Not anymore."

The bird stayed on the island.

 

"What?" Abigail asks, confused.

 

"Never mind."

 

"You should probably get rid of whatever is going to kill you, dude." Abigail says, concerned.

 

"Oh, no. I mean, the blades. That's the agreement. I step out of line, they kill me. I don't, they owe me."
