I've really got to learn more about the setting...

I thought water ran all the way across the map top, I guess I did not make it that way

Unusual, right? I'm seeing what the people in the corner are doing, since they look suspicious.

 

A muscular lady with blue skin and black hair comes over to your table.

"Anything to drink?"

Yevor: "What beers do you have?"

 

"We got Ale, Metaxa, Duc Stein, and our famous Marid Water."

They seem a bit shady, but they are just sitting around playing cards

 

Ti'Lin(whisper):"What's your idea?"

 

Yevor: "How much for an ale?"
Yevor: (whispering to Ti'Lin) "One moment."

 

I take it I sit/stand somewhere near you?
Ti'Lin(whispering):"Yeah sure.. take your time."

 

"Three copper, boy"

I was assuming you, Alice, and Alas were at the table with him.

 

Yevor: "I'll take one."
*I buy an ale.*

 

Ti'Lin (whispering):"Maybe I can overhear what those guys with the cards are saying?"
(Can I do something like this, because cat ears?)

 

She goes away, then comes back with a dark mug full of brown liquid and foam.

"How bout you two?" She asks, gesturating at Cat Man and Totally A Human. "And for the girl?"

*I take the ale, but don't drink it yet.*

 

Ti'Lin:"Can I get a Duc Stein, please?(Don't know what it is). What about you Alice?"

Lady: "Water? What are you, a fish? Drink something real, man!"

Lady: "Sure, that's 5 copper."

Alice stutters. "Can-can I have some milk please?".

Lady: "Sure sweety! I guess that's what you expect when you are raised by a cat..."

You hear bits of the gambler's conversation.

"... New Boss... Big Hammer... Cages... Greedy little..."

The lady leaves and comes back with Ti' Lin's drink and Alice's milk (I may have spelled the drink wrong, it's a type of German beer)
