"I'm not sure I'm strong enough to open a gate... but I can try..."

I gather every bit of energy I can, and try to pull us forward into the shadows.

 

Emily and Max helps you down to the carriage. Max shakes her head. "You're wrong about that. I've been to Cites Mortem before with the Rogues: Aurallim has its own Guardian, one as powerful as Kludrin. I don't know her name, but she is a Phoenix.

Kludrin crushes the rest of the cultists, then starts to head towards the carriage and the princess. Then suddenly, it gives a screech and veers to the right, heading north. Asakeryu sees, in the distance, a red shape approaching the city.

Rathius sees in the distance the enormous city of Arcuntar.

Whoa. He thinks as he quickens his pace. He sees in the distance a carriage and riders being chased by a group of about twin and a half dozen dark shapes. Just then, a huge winged creature drop at the dark shapes, killing them instantly.

What the hell? Rathius thinks as he approaches. The creature takes off into the air. Suddenly it notices the dragon and starts flying to him. As the creature approaches Rathius sees that it is a Griffin.

 

Fen'ris looks at Wyrmin.
"Is this the group we're going to fight the S-Class with? I want to know if there's gonna be more or not."

 

The horse trips on something, and it falls to the side. Tisaun jumps off with agility, then comes running back to the horse to check if he is alright. The horse snorts and stands up, seeming to be okay.

What did it trip on? Tisaun thinks as he scans at the ground. A ball-like thing is on the ground. Frowning, Tisaun turns it over.

The thing has a face. A grinning, wicked face. It opens its mouth and emits a high, childish laugh. A chill goes down your back.

 

"Thanks." I say to them. I point at the shape. "What... What exactly is that? It looks like a... Hmm, I cannot make it out..."

 

Lust starts to charge her hand with blue energy, when an arrow whizzes through the air and strikes a cultist. Lust turns around and shoots her bolt at the source of the arrow. From the place jumps off a girl with dark skin and dressed in Amazon gears. She rolls and fires another arrow, which Lust cuts off the air. More arrows are fired from the shadows.

They start to feel cold air clinging around them...

Then it goes away. Vyrdiin almost toppled over. "I can't!" He shouts. "Too many people!"

Gramoul roars. It has made it almost to the tunnel. A dwarf says, "Break the tunnel or something!"

 

Can a ball of fire break through the tunnel? My guess is no.

 

Wyrmin nods. "There are more."

Luratos shouts again, "Jenna?"

He starts bolting back at the campsite, with the others following him. Fen'ris and his companions gets up on their horses and follow.

They come back to their camp. People are in chaos: they run around, gathering their things.

Jenna comes running at the group, her wings flailing behind her. "Luratos!" She cries. "Someone betrayed us!"

One of the Feldurim is missing. There are fire cackling everywhere. some of the trees catches fire. Airin starts to send frosts to the fire, extinguishing them.

Remilia shouts, "Leave it to Kludrin. We are almost there!"

 

"Very well. Let's go, then!"

 

Rathius(thinking):"Is it coming for me?! I'm not hostile! I need to get the boy to safety."
*I fly away from the Griffin and try to land on the ground.*

 

Kludrin is no animal you racist!

EDIT: My character is the former Aurallim citizen, but not even Jack called monsters "animals".
He called them abominations and wanted to kill every single one of them.... but he didn't call them animals! :P

 

FENRIS THE SHREWD

 

"I dont like this." I try to get my dagger out by instinct , then i remember i got none . I jump behind , kick the head far away and ready my spear for what is coming . "Show yourselves ! I got no time for this !"

 

I know i should have said before but my entry is at the bottom of page 5

 

"The girl was perhaps a distraction."

 

"What happens next is on you then."
I dash to the right. This should give me a short advantage because then only the right one can attack me for a short period. I then try to kill that one.

 

I try and cut lusts throat with the wind while she is distracted

 

"I can probably catch them if I know where they went"

A force of wind knocks against you. You roar and land heavily on the ground. The Griffin lands in front of you, beaks open in a hostile way.

Who are you, dragon? The Griffin says, his voice echoing in Rathius's mind.

Only fire, no. If it was mixed with shadow, however...

More childish laugh comes from the bushes. The laughs starts to get closer. The horse starts to panic, pulling you hard towards the inn.

From the bushes roll out hundreds of ball-like heads, all shiny and hard, all of them grinning. Their laugh fills the air. The horse screams.
