Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

I try walking through anyways until it gets too think to move through.

 

As a robot, the foliage doesn't stop you, but it slows you down pretty well.
You can hear many smaller creatures scuttle away.

 

I make a clicking sound with my mouth, checking if anything responds.

 

Shadow Stephanie quietly removes an arrow to observe it closer.

 

The bird keeps mocking you.

Some have obsidian heads, others just have stone heads. They're tied to sticks like miniature spears.

 

Shadow Stephanie puts the arrow back, silently leaving the hut before entering another to see if much is different.

 

The next one she enters seems to be largely the same, except it seems to be an elderly centaur with a caretaker.

 

Shadow Stephanie observes both centaurs, curious.

 

The elderly one has a beard and seems to have several things to cater to their age, and the other seems to be middle-aged, mostly just there to care for the elder.

 

Shadow Stephanie exits the hut, before looking around the village for anything interesting.

 

The only thing that seems to be of interest is a larger hut, likely containing the village leader.

 

Shadow Stephanie sneaks into the hut, invisible, looking around once inside.

 

There's a lone centaur in there, clothing looking somewhat regal. They seem to be more magic oriented over projectile weapon oriented.

 

Shadow Stephanie investigates what magical weapons the centaur has, intrigued.

 

A staff and tomes.

 

Shadow Stephanie tries to get a better look at what powers the staff, if anything.

 

The staff seems to have a basic crystal prism as a centerpiece, though it'd be impossible to tell if that powers the staff without using it.

 

"If you use that logic, I shouldn't have ressurected you. But you are my guest." I say, summoning some rations and a tin can of water and giving it to Allen.
"Give me a moment as I prepare some more food." I say, flying back through the portal.

 

Shadow Stephanie looks to see if the centaur would notice her taking the staff, an invisible grin on her face.

 

"I guess... Thank you." He says, starting on what you initially provide.

The centaur... grins as well?
"You've done well to get through the illusion barrier. Did he teach you as well?" They ask, voice quiet as they slowly stand up and grab their staff before Shadow Stephanie does.
