Ghouls attack the city, they share a strange disease to the people they attack that transform them in Ghouls too, (I don't know what is a ward-picker, so he do something approximatively here.), the Crime Lord is the chief of the organisation who sent the Ghouls here, the ritual is used to trap the avdenturer who try to stop them, in the sewers we can find a weapon to kill the ghouls or in the attic too. Actually the Crime Lord is hidden in the crypt.

I would advise not to split the party, mainly because it's more work for me. There is one situation I can think of where you will have to split the party, but that's not now.

@SPYROHAWK Since we're not engaged in much activity right now, would it be allowed for me to spend time in meditation preparing new spells? Going by the rules, I can do this "when I finish a long rest".

 

You finished the rest when you slept, so sure.

Also I tend to ignore prepared spells just because I've never used it before, so if you can you don't need to worry about that, just abiding by your slots

Hey, I never stopped you. I just said don't split the party. If you feel like spying on criminals is more important, im not gonna stop you, just try to convince the rest of the party
