Lets Make Corkus City The New Trade Hub!

1. the city isn't in the middle, I'm sure it's next to the docks.
2. nobody except people doing gameplay use calo anyway

The bank and the Item Identifier is kilometers away though

 

Here is what I have to say for Corkus. NEVER.

 

A. Pirate island has both a bank and Item ID
B. It is; look at the corkus update trailer
C. Exactly, and the majority of people trade items for the purpose of gameplay. And if you're trying to get items to help beat a boss, do you REALLY want to have to travel thousands of miles out of the way to do so?
D. 36*how many trips you make can add up, especially for those who aren't rich.
E. Also, A large part of the reason Detlas is the hub city is because of it's ease of access for EVERYONE, including low levels. Not only would Corkus be locked behind a 36 emerald paywall, it would be basically locked for everyone under level 80. Actually, it would likely be COMPLETELY locked for everyone under level 80, as I'm guessing you won't be able to access it until you complete a quest.

 

Like with detlas, it becomes normal to have bank classes at the trade hub of the world. You can then instantly transport items through your bank.

 

Then what's the point of having C.City as the hub? If people are going to just do everything elsewhere, what's the point of having something so far out of the map as a hub city? And for that matter, if we do need to do a level 80 quest to have access like I think we do, you literally CAN'T have bank classes there

 

Just like cinfras was the main city...

Ok, so your entire argument is based off of
Dueling being dynamic, which, btw, it won't as you'll have to deal with waves of actually damaging level 80+ mobs as opposed to waves of mildly annoying level 10 mobs.
Legendary island being close by, even though Relos actually seems to be closer
A lot less newbies begging for LE, which I've only seen thrice in two years anyways, and two of them were the same guy, who, btw, was level 90
City layout being straightforward, which, if you've seen Grian's stream, you KNOW is false
The steampunk theme giving things to jump on, which is honestly just an assumption based off of design
And a powder exchange, which will probably put you out of business anyways

And then just repeating those until people start believing you?

This isn't a fucking argument, this is literally a matter of opinion. Now, if you want to say that your opinion is better than my opinion, thats very nice for you, but I don't really care.

If you as an individual does not want to come to corkus, thats fine. Nobody is forcing you to.

A. I meant that you need to go from the bank to powder master then to Item Identifier and then go downstairs for Item Buyers then go the whole way back

C. You say Detlas is really popular of a trade city, and Cinfras is not, why do you say that?

E. How do you know it needs a quest? Only the trailer came out yet, and it shows of no completing quest for access. Also, how hard can it be to go seaskipper and then run on a path? I'm sure you can dodge enemies or people can help you. Not everyone is that selfish...

 

Cinfras and Rodoroc could have worked but okay

 

1. Who duels outside of a city anyways? If you looking to duels in that way, I can really assume that you're the one dueling outside!
2. Newbies begging for LE isn't just the only thing that happens in Detlas. People asking items, weird people throwing out diamond armor to the bin, and such more.
3. Nope. It's really peaceful, and it is surrounded by houses so we don't get the stupid wild mooshrooms level 15s bring.
4. Bank and Identifier is close, Bank and Powder exchange is close, scroll merchant is near. This is actually what Cinfras has, but its problem is that Gavel is from west to east instead of clockwise.
5. It won't? Powder exchange can be a good material to stop people begging for powders, people can turn powders and so on.

6. He's not repeating, he just answered your post with what he had already written.
7. No it doesn't. You are going to run around the whole island and end up in Corkus city because it's the main city anyways.

Most of the people doing that are 100s, so that point is moot

No, instead we'll get the stupid level 80 Robots. The majority of people who do that shit are the bored level 100s, and switching the town won't stop that

Exactly, and his business is based off of people wanting to exchange powders for different ones. So if there's an ingame mechanic that ALREADY allows people to do that, HE won't have business, unless he lowers the prices on his powders, which is unlikely, as he only has a limited amount and the merchants do not

Because it isn't. Compare ANY server's Detlas to any server's Cinfras. There's almost no one in Cinfras on most days, while Detlas is usually populated by some people

Notice how, in the trailer, the scene includes a Corkus delegate showing you around? My bet is that in order to make that moment "special" and whatnot, they restrict access to that area until you do a quest. It's not a 100% chance, but it's possible.
Also, have you played the canyon guides quest? Helping a bank class get into Corkus city will likely be like that if Seluc died in one hit.
Also, How do you know ANY OF THIS

Because from both the livestream and the trailer, Neither of those are shown

My opinion is that Corkus is a terrible hub city. Those are reasons. If you want to end the argument, though, I'm fine with that.
