Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"She gave you favors? Damn..." The creature utters, shocked. "Definitely ask her then. If she can't, her servants probably know someone who can."

 

"All else fails, we can try the gods, right?" Abigail asks.

"Yeah. Let's go see Xlentia." Shadow Stephanie says, opening a portal.

"Hey, we're going to go see if Xlentia can take us to space. You coming?" Shadow Stephanie calls to you and Crystal.

 

I jot down notes on what happens, and then proceed to create a golem to go to the tribal village.

 

Their first instincts to the golem is to stab it in many places possible, and if it doesn't bleed, start chipping away at it bit by bit.

 

"Yeah! It'd be nice to see her again."
"Don't have much to do here, so sure."
I say, snapping out of deep thought.

 

Abigail heads through the portal, Shadow Stephanie following. Shadow Stephanie's hand sticks out from the portal and waves you toward it.

 

Crystal jogs through as I lag back a bit, before heading through.

Shadow Stephanie and Abigail arrive in the Void Palace library, looking around momentarily before heading toward the exit.

 

Crystal and I just follow.

The other library goers just ignore them, assuming they're just leaving.

 

Shadow Stephanie and Abigail leave the library, making their way to Xlentia's chambers and entering if nobody stops them.

 

The door seems locked, but promptly opens after a failed attempt.
"Hello, darlings!" Xlentia says, content. "Thanks for the forgiveness!"

 

"Hey, uh, I wanted to ask if you could take us to space?" Abigail asks.

 

"Easy!" She says happily. "Are we going bird watching?"

 

"We're trying to find a dude called Sivius. Heard of him?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

 

"Like the Sivius from the stories? Yes! When do we go?" Xlentia asks, excited.

 

"As soon as it's convenient for you, I guess." Abigail says, shrugging.

"Shouldn't we bring the starmap?" Shadow Stephanie asks.

Abigail taps her visor, before quickly trying to close an application she launched by tapping it.

 

"Starmap? That would help. Where do I need to start? What about your other friends? Why can't we all go?" Xlentia asks, overly enthused.

 

"Well, this was sort of Thirteen and Crystal's project. I don't want to invite the others if they don't want a crowd of people," Abigail says, before turning to Shadow Stephanie, "Do you have any idea how I could show the starmap to Xlentia? I only have it on my visor."

"Memory crystal?" Shadow Stephanie suggests, summoning a white crystal in her hand.

Abigail takes the crystal, putting it to her head. A few moments later, Abigail removes the crystal, before handing it back to Shadow Stephanie. Shadow Stephanie widens the crystal into a screen of sorts, a picture appearing of it of Abigail's perspective of the starmap on her visor, the starmap itself changing between it's displays that were shown. Shadow Stephanie holds up the screen for Xlentia to see.

 

Xlentia seems mildly annoyed.
"Too small."
