I recall explaining this before, but those names are people who helped on my RuniCraft project awhile back(and myself). I got permission to essentially re-use the characters, although some things have changed.

Tisaun used to be a dwarf in the original lore, and his legendary feat of protecting his home had different motivations. In RuniCraft, it was just because if his city was taken over, how would he continue mining for his ores? In Wynn, though...

Cerid was indeed an inventor and was intended to have provided a lot of the "technology" in RuniCraft. Think DaVinci's notebook-type stuff. So not much has really changed actually.

Rycar was an eclectic vampire chick that was intended to be a sort of recurring boss, who just would show up to try and ruin your day at some points. Now, instead of being sustained by blood, she's sustained by liquor and more ruins the evil boss's days by making fools out of them while drunk off her keister.

Ensa was a high priest of a religion that would've turned out to be a total hoax, though he was unaware and legitimately believed in what he preached. You would, over the course of a number of quests, completely shatter his worldview, reveal the falsehoods of his teachings to him, and show that what he did was hurting people when he had intended to help. I've marked ones that are incorrect in red and ones that I wasn't affiliated with or aren't 100% sure of in yellow.

 

I'm pretty surprised Lazybones, Courser, Fighting Spirit and Voidlight were incorrect references, but with the others I can see why they might not be correct (They are pretty vague references that could be applied to more than one area). To be honest, Someone Else's Knife and Audacity were long shots, I wasn't 100% sure on them since I had very little evidence to link them.

Would you mind telling me what the incorrect references actually reference, or is that a secret we (the community) need to find out ourselves?

 

Lazybones was just meant to be a bow what makes you lazy when you hold it. No reference intended.

Pilot Light is an obscure lyrical reference. I was listening to a song by Petriform, and I liked how Pilot Light sounded as the name of an item.

Jackpot wasn't mine, but it was just meant to be...well, a necklace that gave you loot and XP and stuff. Not the Jack Noir.

Courser is again, an item without a real reference to it. I just needed something that sounded electrical, and then I remembered my Coursing Mail item, so I went with Courser, like it's coursing with electricity.

Fighting Spirit was just meant to be a nice offensive spear, so I went with a nice offensive name.

Awakening is like the awakening of your latent skills. It DOES give 10 in every skill point, you know.

Voidlight was a carry-over from RuniCraft in name, and I'd come up with it far before I'd heard Voidlight in Homestuck(i.e: when lumi extended it). It just fit.

Vagabond, Salted made, and he's not a Homestuck.

Audacity was Dakota's item. I wasn't thinking of Gamzee when I made the lore, I was just thinking "Okay, boots what make you go crazy".

Someone Else's Knife...okay, I actually forget what I was doing with this one, but it wasn't to do with Little Inferno.

On another note, Erratio's base IDs are all 6, 12, 4, or 13...except the blue IDs of water, which are -8.
