Wynncraft Theme

So today me and a friend of mine were talking and I brought up his Wynncraft application. He said that he was denied not because he had bad skill or anything but because of his style. As major Wynncraft enthusiasts we have both become familiar with what we had thought was the style of Wynncraft being a fantasy/rustic. Therefore we are both confused as to what the style of Wynncraft is and would like an explanation and examples.

Walk around the map, in general that's the style of the game besides a few specific instances

The "style" of building is medieval, with a bit of fantasy and a hint of rustic.

Since denial messages are automated, you may want to contact a GM and talk to them directly for proper feedback.

It's possible that the builds they are working on currently aren't in the same style as wynn or gavel, which makes sense as Corkus has a different style and they are currently working on Fruma, a more martial province than Wynn or Gavel.

 

While this is very true MintIceCream I don't see why that would cause someone to be denied as other parts of the map are always being revamped and it seems Wynncraft always wants builders with talent in the primary style and similar styles.

 

You have a point. Although they DO have many builders able to build in that style already, so maybe they're looking for a different style? Just in case, I'd recommend trying to build in some varying styles for if/when you do try to apply again

 

Wynn is medieval. Rustic should work, but don't overdo the fantasy. That might be the problem you are having.
Gavel's theme changes per location. Llevigar is more fantasy, but Cinfras is rustic, and moving on Thanos is something else entirely.
Corkus will be steampunk.
Fruma's theme is unknown.

I believe the reason he may have been denied is if his style was either too upbeat or if he used too many colors. Both Wynn and Gavel have a lack of color besides certain areas. Try to look around the map, take a somewhat intricate building near Cinfras or Detlas, use that theme to make a tower or town, (or both) and try that. If you feel that you hadn't made it too colorful, and fit the themes, contact a GM to see if you can improve it.

Wynncraft doesn't have a theme or a style, it had a broad umbrella of styles that all make up the Wynn builds.

 

Yet somehow we don't have umbrellas in Wynn

 

Depends on what city or province your in. However, Gavel follows more of a fantasy type of builds (the majority of gavel follow fantasy while molten heights and thanos follow a dwarven style) while wynn follows various styles (Middle-eastern style of builds in almuj and rymek, fantasy - medieval builds in ragni, deltas, troms, nessak, and lusuco, Nordic style builds at the ice islands, southern pacific style builds in zhight island) Corkus will be no doubt be Steampunk and fruma will be no doubt a european medieval fantasy hybrid
