Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Nobody seems to be having any nightmares, though there aren't many people who could have one.

 

Annoyed, Muffy looks for any unpleasant dreams.

 

Those that are asleep seem to be dreaming about either random or pleasant things. One of the sleeping crew members seems to be facing a large, terrifying beast in their dream, yet they seem to be enjoying the challenge of the fight.

 

Muffy looks for dreams that are almost over, before eating the dream.
Onlookers just see Muffy sprawed out across their face, tongue sticking on the back of their neck.

 

Those that notice Muffy just try to avoid her or pretend she's not there, leaving her be.

 

After eating one dream, she just leaves, entering every room she crosses.

 

A lot of the rooms Muffy enters are simply empty bedrooms, until she eventually finds a storage room filled with crates.

 

Curious, she looks in various crates.

 

Most of them are sealed fairly tightly, needing a crowbar or the like to get them open, but those that Muffy can open contain citrus fruits, bottles of alcohol and metals. A few barrels seem to be kept in storage too, some even with taps on them.

 

Muffy loses interest, blinking out and checking for any significant heat signatures.

 

One part of the ship seems to be extremely hot, to the point lava could be flowing through it. Various people-shaped heat signatures move about in it, one of them seeming to leave and head in Muffy's direction.

 

Muffy heads towards it, looking up to avoid getting stepped on.

 

Muffy ends up meeting a fire guardian along the way, their heat signature the one they saw. They sidestep Muffy as they head in the direction she came from.

Muffy soon finds a large forge within the ship, the door bolted shut with a clear window to see through. Various fire guardians work inside, lava pouring from vents to melt down metals that they forge into weapons and tools.

 

Muffy scratches at the door to be let in, a bit too full to blink.

 

The door is unlocked, bolt sliding open. Muffy feels a massive wave of heat hit her as soon as the door opens, the room like a scorching sauna.

"Oh, hello there kitty!" A fire guardian says, kneeling down to Muffy's level.

 

Muffy's fur ignites as the heat wave hits, rubbing up against the fire guardian's hand as she walks in and looks around.

 

The fire guardian shuts the door soon after, bolting it shut.

Various fire guardians work with metals in the forge, some pulling open vents that causes molten metal to pour down, others filling a large tank with lava. There's loud hammering sounds as fire guardians hammer swords, cutlasses, daggers and other weapons. Muffy can occasionally see a small hatch open, a few fire guardians passing through crafted weapons and tools before it closes again.

 

Muffy watches intently, keeping quiet.

 

The fire guardian before opens the door and enters the forge, carrying various metals and gems which he dumps into a basin before pouring lava over. He pulls out a few rougher looking gems and loose shards and puts them in a pot next to him, working with the lava.

The hatch opens up again, a broken, bent gun being handed through. One of the fire guardians takes the gun and begins to work on fixing the gun, straightening it out.

 

Crystal and I follow, Crystal continuing to look around.
"So, where is she?"
