[rp] Mortal 11/11

(I have no idea)
I try to use a goblin to jump up over the crowd to see where the nearest path is.

 

According to you, I recognized him, so I suppose so.

Realizing I can't directly kill them all, I decide to try and scare them away, instead.

I withdraw from the battle, trying to find an area where I can concentrate.

I go to fly away from the witch.

 

Oh sorry!

As you take off, wind starts to circle around you. It is the only way you can take off.

An arrow whizzes past you. You swear and whirl. The mysterious group apparently heard you.

 

I go to dodge the arrows and keep ascending.

 

Vysticia

"Houst." Vysticia says as the soldiers approach her. The man leading his wears an armour set for a captain. He is a tall man, with broad shoulders, and hard skin. He has dark hair, and a short beard covering his chin. He holds a spear in one hand.

"Vysticia." Houst says, his face a blank. "You were alive."

Vysticia looks away from the man. Houst was her captain, who helped her become an Aurallim soldier. She looks at the Dullahan, who sits on his bed, watching with a faint smile. The others didn't seem to notice him.

"We thought you were dead. Now we find you, working with criminals! What is this, Vysticia?"

Vysticia stays silent. Houst clicks his tongue. "Take her." He says coldly, and motions to the other soldiers. They unlock her cuffs, then starts taking her towards the door. Houst follows them from behind. As the door closes, the Dullahan sighs. "What a bother." He mumbles, then opens the window. He jumps outside.

With a clang, the door is closed shut. The soldier locks the door with a key, then walks away.

"Vicia?" A voice comes from behind Vysticia. She turns and sees Sylvia, Ben, Hasher, and three other Rogues in the cell. "Vicia!" Sylvia cries, and coming running to her, embraces Vysticia. Vysticia smiles and taps her hand on Sylvia's shoulder two times, and she breaks away. Sylvia beams. "You were alive!" She says. Ben and Hasher comes behind her, laughing.

"Yeah." Vysticia nods. She scans the cell, then out at the others. She scans through all of them, but doesn't find who she is looking for. "Is Jastorel OK?" Vysticia asks.

Her friends' faces fall. Vysticia understands then, and she stands there, frozen in shock. "Jastorel died shortly after you went unconscious," Hasher says. "I'm sorry."

Vysticia nods. She turns away and walks up to the only window in the cell. She looks out, feeling the cold air hit her face. She blinks hard, letting the tears roll down. He wouldn't want me crying over him. Vysticia thinks. She wipes the tears from her eyes. Damn it! She curses to herself.

Vysticia scans the room. The Rogues were all asleep, either on the three wooden beds or on the floor, on a pile of hay. Vysticia rises, then walks over to the window. It was way past midnight, and she couldn't sleep. She sighs, thinking about what would happen to her. Suddenly, she feels a presence behind her. Whirling, she comes face to face with the dark haired Dullahan. She starts to scream, surprised by the sudden appearance, but the Dullahan clamps his hand over hr mouth. Her heart beating, she takes deep breaths. As she starts to calm down, the Dullahan removes his hand.

"Why?" Vysticia whispers. "Why are you here?"

The Dullahan doesn't answer. Instead, he throws to Vysticia a black key. She recognises it from earlier in the day, where the soldier used the same key to lock the prison door. Her eyes widen in surprise. "Hurry." The Dullahan whispers. "Take this and go with the others. Your things are in the storage room down the hall."

The Dullahan starts to walk towards the door. He passes through the iron doors as if his body is insubstantial.

"Wait!" Vysticia hisses. The Dullahan looks back.

"What's your name?" Vysticia asks. The Dullahan stares at her, then starts to walk away.

"My name is Seth." The Dullahan says without turning back. He then turns into shadow and disappears.

Suddenly, Ventus finds it harder to breathe, as if an invisible force is clamped around his neck. He coughs, as his head starts to feel light.

A sharp pain spurs through his body from his stomach. Ventus gags, then start to fall down. He manages to cushion his fall with a gush of wind, but that effort drains him. Groaning, he looks up.

Ventus sees the navy cloaked woman holding one of her men by the neck. She places the man down, and he staggers back, coughing. The woman smiles cruelly. "Thank you." She nods to the man, who was being supported by his comrades.

The woman turns to Ventus. "I don't know who you are, but it is not nice to spy on people." She smiles.

"Of course." Scar says, standing up. She loses balance, though, but Basil catches her. Supporting her, Basil says, "I'll take care of her. The faster we leave, the better. We can rest in Tornedd, if we make it that far."

Wyrmin says, "I've got our horses. We will leave, now."

Three days pass. Fen'ris and co have successfully crossed the Kurubiq into Aurallim, and is now riding towards Lemin. They see a village, not far from them. As they ride along the road, Basil sits up, frowning. "There aren't anyone in the village." He says.

Remilia raises her hand. Tisaun turns and leaves the healing house. He sees the horse and a saddle bag with supplies at the entrance, along with a young boy. Tisaun smiles and thanks to the boy, who runs off.

He scans his equipment. They all seem to be okay, except for his dagger, which was now a pile of ash in some streets.

"Prepare yourselves. I have a bad feeling about this. If we don't need to stop at the village, then we don't stop."

"Gah!" Pride is thrown back. He rights himself again, but this time, he looks truly angry. His cloak is smoking.

"So this is the power of an A class Dragon!" Pride shouts. He swings his hand, making a purple slash of energy shoot at Rathius. Rathius drops his altitude, dodging the attacks. Pride swoops down, readying his mace to swing it from down to up.

Emily, Lucifer, Debulan and Rondach(the clone devil) look up as you and Max approach. You quickly brief them on the arrangement of the trip to Arcuntar, and of Tisaun's departure to the Freelands.

"How are you guys feeling?" Max asks.

"We're fine." Emily says, as she stretches on her chair. "You guys didn't try to kill us, thank god."

Rondach smiles and leans back on his chair.

"Oh yeah, one thing." Asakeryu says, turning so he faces Max, too. "Are you, Hellbirds, coming with us? I decided to, but..."

"Yes, we will." Debulan says. "For a reason, Zeisha said she will visit the Palace if she finds any useful information. We would be able to meet her if we stick with that Princess."

You jump on a high tower with a bell. From there, you can concentrate.

You find a path(?) which leads up to the tunnel and the platform where the dwarves are fighting. But it is overrun with goblins.

You see Vyrdiin standing upon a tower. What is that idiot doing? Uadlokii thinks. He burns some goblins and land on a house, next to the path.

You come near the village. As you come close, you smell a terrible stench coming from the village, as well as a smell of something burning. Basil looks into the village, using his enhanced vision. He gasps, and with eyes widened in horror, stammers. He seems extremely shocked.

 

"If its a massacre, we have no time."

 

I walk up to this person and introduce myself

 

Rathius(thinking): "So he gets stronger the more scared I get? I can fight that."
Rathius: "Fighting one of you guys isn't that hard you know."
*I start to fly under him so he can't hit me with that mace hit. When I'm close enough I kick him with my legs into the sky. With high speed I fly up to him before he can correct himself and, grab him with my claw, and hurl him down to the ground."
