As a warlock your hit dice is d8. So anywhere from 0d8 - 3d8

 

I can roll 3d8 after each short rest ? (I'm sure I didn't understand)

 

Rolled 3; So that's 3 hp more for me = 24 hp

 

I spend a Hit Dice, and try to retrieve my lost hand axe.
Hit Dice: 7
Back up to full!

Once you spend hit dice, you don't get them back till a long rest

I got 12 + 8 HP. 20 will be enough I think.

 

So you could spend all 3, but then you can't heal in any more short rests until a long rest

Or you could only spend 1, and have 2 left

I'm at a robotics competition, so I can be on and off whenever

 

I still have some healing draughts for those with really low health (It heals 2d8, but you need to take a long rest after if you want to use it again)
