About Grinding Mythics

Hey ppl. Basically I've been broke for like a year, and i'm always so sad when i see how much le i have ;w;
And obviously i cant buy much of anything if im broke. Soooo... with mythics being out, i was wondering if it would be worth the time to grind mythics, and how long it might take, what mythics i could get, maybe how much certain ones could sell for, where to grind for them, etc etc. Maybe some smart person can do some calculating of an estimated time to get a mythic grinding, considering drop rate is 7/1,000,000. Idk but yeah thats about it. Plz help and tell me info about getting mythics. (or if i should not try at all.)

 

You should defenitely grind for them, IF you find one you're almost guaranteed rich. While you grind keep the legends and rares, people might buy them. Use loot bonus, to increase drop quantity.

 

Loot bonus increases drop quality not quantity.

In mother russia you don't find mythics, Mythics find you.

For real though, Grinding for mythics is extremely ineffective... Don't try getting mythics... Just play the game, If you're lucky you'll find one eventually.
There is no "Super effective" way of grinding mythics, There never was there never will be.
It's all about luck...

Think about it like this, In the lottery there isn't really any way to promise someone that he'll win right?
He could just buy thousands of tickets (In this case open loot chests) but the chance is still so low that it's just impossible to predict.
You could win after buying one ticket... Or 10... Or a 100... But there are literally 0 ways to know.

Just use Wynncraft Enhanced so you can see all the items on the ground when grinding in high level areas.

Get legends, sell them, grind up till you can buy bad mythics (Pure, Az, Archangel) then keep selling them/horses when you can buy your first legit mythic (All the others except the armor)

If my math is correct, finding a mythic takes an average of 480 hours of killing mobs nonstop, so if you grind 8 hours per day, it's going to take you two months. Of course lots of stuff can affect this number, mostly lowering it.
Also, yesterday a guy found a mythic on freezing heights really near me, so nothing stops you from being next. Good luck, I'm looking for one too.

you first should say

7 mythics every 1 million item drops (0,0007%). 1 item drop every 10 seconds estimated - this is more or less what I used for that number, so you can tweak the math for yourself if you want, mostly changing the items dropped/sec on the equation.

1.000.000 / 7 = 142.857. Let's round to 140k
140k * 10 = 1.4m. 1.4m is the amount of seconds it take, on average, to find a mythic while grinding.
1.4m seconds means 21875 minutes or 341 hours.

No this is not true, it increases quantity of any loot. This includes both mob drops and loot chests, as said by Salted on the gavel changelog (somewhere hidden in the comments, good luck finding it).
