Sorry to break this to you, those who have these wings. This is the latest on possessing or crafting these "wings". Crafting them is not allowed. So if you are making them, just stop making anymore. It is a ban If you sell them or keep making more. Please turn them in to a staff, as you are not allowed to keep the "wings" as they were obtained using a glitch method.

This situation is a little different for a few specific reasons which will not be gotten into here, just please do not craft these items anymore and do not abuse any more glitches.

So I spoke to a moderator in-game about not being able to own them, and apparently they are "Illegal" to possess. When I asked why, I was told it was for "Precautions" (lol wot?). When I inquired further about why there needed to be these so called precautions, it was stated that it was simply to prevent the selling of them, and distribution of them, and then proceeded to subtly threaten me to get rid of mine. Now by now you can probably tell at this point it's just blind enforcing of the rules without stopping to genuinely think about things OR there is some related glitch that has to do with the crafting of these wings which could be gamebreaking? This could certainly be a possibility, as there are numerous holes in this reasoning. It's interesting that you can't own these (A cosmetic glitched in item), yet you can own Dyed armor, and numerous other cosmetically glitched things without having the looming consequences of getting banned. The reasoning that they don't want it being "Sold or redistributed" is therefore nulled out, considering other items such as this could just aswell be sold etc, yet are still not consequentially instantly bannable for simply owning (Such as it is being stated as to owning these wings..) These are just my thoughts on this matter, and I would greatly like to see these wings added in the future as a proper cosmetic item, they look nice af with a white horse and the cloud player effect. Adios ;D

We hoped that several players would be grown-up enough to understand that when we said 'don't make any more' that they would understand that it meant, per Game Rule 3. Do not abuse bugs, glitches or exploits.
(Leaving the map, obtaining illegal items, duping and bypassing restricted areas. Also included is bypassing territory cool-down.). Now, we understand that some players didn't understand what we were saying. So, now, we have to put an end to the fun and tell you all that we mean "DON'T MAKE ANY MORE!" We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this is the way that it has to be, because we keep clarifying what we are saying in one unique situation, only, and it's getting applied to situations that it should not be applied to.

I think the reason is pretty simple and also a common sense in society, theres no proper way to prevent players to abuse glitches or distributing them. Even players receive a warning it can be viewed as "don't get caught another time" (just like my college life). One thing the mods do not allows the possession and selling of these items is so that people cannot generate money from these glitches by selling them to innocent noobs. Somethings thats wrong but popular doesn't mean it should be legalised.

Same ideology of rules and mod's power limitation is just as same as real life, honestly theres nothing stopping you to kill your neighbour with a knife and as long as no one found out you won't suffer from the consequence. However it is the society laws that we obey certain rules set by the authorities (the server) in exchange for protection and order. By this we give mods the power to do their job and eliminate game breaking glitches and hackers.

Dyeing armour is also not encouraged by mods however since those armours are not illegal items technically (unlike polished granite) it is more about the trust between mods and players to have a common understanding. I for one knew this glitch for 3 years and didn't use or shared it.

Funny enough I'm currently working on a book review on Milgram S. (1974) Obedience to authority: An experimental view (due tomorrow rip). Tho the book talks about how blindly obeying authority can be it does convey the point societies are built on laws and orders.

True, if only there were a way to Mass-Regulate these sorts of things without having to convey and enforce very vague/generalized rules that cause confusion and portray it in a bad light. Though it still is confusing as to why there is a trust based rule set for other cosmetically glitched items yet that apparently doesn't apply for this one. (?)
