SPOILER Corkus Trailer - Analysis (with Pictures)

EDIT: I just noticed that it has already been done, as I started to write this right when the trailer came out. But I had a hard time taking the pictures at the right time, so I still hope you enjoy!

Since I'm the kind of guy that can't wait 10 days for this update to be released, let's try to analyze stuff.

At 0:16, you can see 3 NPCs "Corkus citizen" running somewhere while shouting "Help! The dinner!", followed by a "5 new quests!" text.


What we see after this is very interesting. Take a look at this:

I believe this is finally the quest involving the Sky base in the sky islands. You can also see a cool cutscene where someone put a helmet on the player's head. As the NPC name is "Trials Overseer", the quest will probably involve some sort of trial the player has to complete to gain trust from the Skyraiders. How the Skyraiders talk (if it's actually them) can make us believe they're good guys, with a whole monarchy going on (with the queen's headpiece).

Now, this mob:

Salted really wanted to showcase this mob, because we see it multiple times in the trailer. It shoots experience orbs at you, is really high in the sky, and has a spell to make you fly (the same spell as the galleon graveyard parkour). It looks pretty interesting and must be some sort of rare mob.
His drops are not really clear:

It looks like wheat, but it may be something else. The mob is called "Golden Avia" and is level 85.

It does damage to all elements. It's probably a pretty strong monster.
Edit: Upon further examination, the Golden Avia will loot its feather. The item is wheat, and it needs to be used in the Uth Shrine!

You can see a bunch of new items:

I'll let the items expert take a look a these, however, another really interesting thing is that there is gonna be a new mythic called "warp":

My guess is that it will be an air wand, but who knows.

A NEW DUNGEON (0:29)! ​

For level 90! That's really good. One of the stage is "avoid the saw" thing with a really good animation, and a sound! I don't know if the sound will actually be in-game.
The dungeon is called the "Fallen factory" and was teased in the Wynncraft twitter.

Now, something really interesting:

How will they make a "hardcore challenge" without super strong monsters and ToA/Qira styled challenge, with actual good rewards. We don't have any more information about this island, however in the image it looks like we can see some shops near this giant temple. We also saw this picture in the wynncraft twitter.


I have my theory about this:

On the left, you can see materials like wool and other blocks. On the right, We can see powders. What I believe is going on is that you'll be able to exchange resources you get from mobs to powder from these guys. And you'll also be able to exchange the blank powder to the element you want.
This is just a simple theory, it may not be true!

Now, moving on:

This is probably related to the Uth Shrine.
We can see 3 "Thrunda Slaughterer" which is a level 80 mob. The area looks like an arena. It looks like the mobs are using a lot of charges, which can make the fight difficult.
What the Uth rune is and how it works is still unclear.
A fellow player (@los_pollitoz ) suggested it might be a wave mode, and I agree!
According to @ShadowMage1 , you'll be able to use the Uth rune at the Forgery, probably to craft another set of keys for the new corrupted dungeons.

What we see next is another new mob (the U-45 Repaired), then a quest NPC (possibly introducing the player to Corkus) is talking about how Corkus is better than Wynn or Gavel.


It looks like the creeper infiltration quest is getting a rework! The player is getting blown up and fall in a Creeper nest (with a creeper egg near)

The other showcased quest, I have no idea what it is. However, a lot of effort has been put into it, the armor stands looks like a real model, they did an awesome job on that and the animation. The player is controlling some kind of ball and a cannon shoots the ball or something...

2 NEW CORRUPTED DUNGEONS!
Underworld crypt and sand-swept tomb. That's pretty damn good.

New crate rewards, but since I don't get crates I'll do my salty player and won't show them. Play the video to see them ;)

That's all we got from the trailer! I'm really hyped about Corkus!

Even though there are 14 threads about this now, this one is probably the best of the bunch. Nice work for such a quick thread.

There's not really much to say. Legendary Island could definitely be something like a Boss Rush, a dungeon, or even something similar to the Forum Challenges; starting a new class with certain limitations.

 

In the Uth rune picture, it looks like the area is some sort of arena like place.
Perhaps we'll get that wave mode we always asked for :)

Soo, that flying scene in 0:33, if the spell was pull and if the mob was really a thing floating in the air, Archers are gonna have hard time defeating this mob.
Mage/Assassin/Warrior all have spells to negative fall damage from the pull spell into the sky. It seems they finally added decent disadvantage of Archer against a specific mob? ;3

 

Archers are kind of the only ones who can HIT the damn thing so I'd say no

The Uth Rune that was teased says that you can use it at the Forgery. This would probably be used to craft a second set of corrupted dungeon keys for Underworld Crypt and Sand-Swept Tomb.

Also about getting the uth Runes, in an older teaser there was the feather that needed to be used at the uth shrine, so maybe you get that feather and use it to summon the mob that will drop the Uth runes

I for one liked it. It brought what seemed like an old timey, "Brand New Innovation" feel to Corkus.
