SPOILER Everything That We Currently Know About Creepers

Boy oh boy... Creepers... These majestic creatures seem to have been forgotten lately...
I got bored a bit, So I decided... Why not put on the table everything we know about these things?
Maybe the community could come up with some theories about them... I really feel like creepers are one of the least explored/analyzed creatures in the game that might still be taking a big part of the lore.
So... Let's get to it!

-They're afraid of humans (Possibly other animals too).

-Their only known locations are the Pigmen's Ravine & Lost Sanctuary dungeon.

-They have very sensitive emotions, They could get easily scared/panicked, Which is not common around other mobs.

-They make a substance called "Creeper Powder", It's uses/how it is made are unknown (Possibly & logically their feces).

-They're not common, Are considered "Majestic" creatures, And most people refer to them as bedtime stories or legends in Wynn, One citizen even compares them to "Dragons" which don't exist in the province of Wynn from what is currently known.

-They're friendly and have poor combat capabilities.

-When killed they drop a "Creepers Brain" which can be used as an explosive.

-They possibly have heat vision, Very sensitive smell or hearing (When doing Creeper Infiltration even when vanished the creepers would still see you and not let you in their cave without a mask, Yet they won't know you're human when you simply wear a creeper mask, So this might be wrong).

-They like living underground and are "Loners", Usually in a very green and natural caves.

-They're not very intelligent (All you need is to wear a Creeper mask and they'll simply think you're a creeper, But a bad vision could explain that too I guess).

-Although they're friendly they can still be manipulated to attack something/someone (Lost Sanctuary boss-fight).

Notes:
It's very weird as to how Creepers are presented- I mean, Their brains are made out of explosives yet they're such gentle creatures who mean no harm at all, Looking back I'm either over-analyzing this mob way too much or there's a lot of thought put into it that none of us has found out about before.

You got it all wrong! Creepers naturally spawn in the overworld on top of solid blocks with a light level of 7 or less. Creepers drop 0–2 gunpowder, and a music disc if killed by a skeleton arrow. They also drop a creeper head if killed by a charged creeper's explosion. They drop 5 experience when killed by a player or tamed wolf. Creepers will chase after any player, as long as it is within a 16 block (±5%) radius and ±4 blocks vertically. The detection range of creepers is reduced to half of their normal range (8 blocks) when the player is wearing a creeper mob head. Creepers can climb up ladders and vines like any other mob, but do not do so intentionally. When within three blocks of a player, a creeper will hiss loudly, start flashing and inflating, and explode after 1.5 seconds. A creeper's detonation can be halted if the player gets out of the blast radius (7 blocks), including by knocking back the creeper or killing it. Creepers can be forced to explode by using a flint ant steel. Creepers will flee from ocelots and cats if one is too close, until they are approximately 16 blocks away from the feline(s). A creeper's explosion has a power of 3 (but see an exception below). If a creeper is inflicted with a status effect, its explosion will create an area effect cloud of the effect. Creepers are never targeted by any mobs, other than the wither, the snow golem, and the vindicator named "Johnny." If they are hit by a stray projectile, they will only retaliate if they are not already chasing a player. A charged creeper is created only when lightning strikes within 3–4 blocks of a normal creeper, which significantly increases its explosive power. Charged creepers are distinguished from normal creepers by the blue aura surrounding them. Their countdown timers are the same as normal creepers, both in terms of range and time. With a power of 6, an explosion caused by a charged creeper is twice as powerful as the explosion caused by a regular creeper (see image). How close the creeper was to the lightning strike will not affect the size of the explosion. Charged creepers have the same entity ID as normal creepers. The only difference is that the value of the boolean "powered" tag is set to "1" (true). Charged creeper explosions will cause a zombie, skeleton, wither skeleton, or other creeper to drop the corresponding mob head, one per explosion. However, they will not drop their own head.
