If I wasn't labeled as a racist, sexist, homophobe, and bigot by the regressives simply by disagreeing that I'm a part of the problem, then I wouldn't oppose them. They fail to realize that not all conservatives are members of Richard Spencer's posse and so they immediately dismiss what a right-wing speaker has to say. We saw it happen with people like Ben Shapiro and Milo Yiannopoulos getting kicked off of or not even being allowed on school campuses. If they would allow themselves to listen then they would see that the majority of the right also shares the belief that generalizations (whether they be about race or gender) are wrong. Their habit of blaming their problems on race and sex and not culture has also caused them to be worked up into a fervor where they ignore facts (I remember seeing a Huffington Post article suggesting that liberals stop using facts and start using feelings). They tend to ignore black on black crime, the amount of homicides blacks (in the hood) commit as compared to any other race, and they ignore single parenthood, all of which have contributed to the poor quality of life and poverty in the inner city. They also bend facts when they talk wage gap. They claim the gap between genders is about thirty percent when really it is almost nonexistant. The numbers they show are displaying total money earned which completely ignore the amount of people employed from either gender and the jobs that are being worked (for example a CEO vs. a part-time cashier). The regressives say that it is a systemic problem and that sexism is the cause, but in reality it has been a long history of mothers taking care of kids (thanks mom) that is the reason for less employment among women. To conclude, most people would agree with the left that racism and sexism are problems, but they would also say that labeling people as racists and sexists is a problem which only perpetuates the circle-jerk.

I have not accused you of being in favor of the circle jerk. I don't understand why that would even be a thing to be in favor of. My point was that by making generalizations (the very thing the left is against) SJW's are continuing the cycle. And by SJW's I don't mean all liberals, I mean the "let's blow up the White House" kind of people.

Edit:I get that having an opinion is okay, but you have to draw the line when you start to spread misinformation or ruin somebody's reputation.

 

and the whole point of my thread was that if you replace "SJW" with "the Anti-SJW culture" (not people who are just against SJWs, but the circlejerk that formed around "triggering"), it still works, and that this is an ever intensifying and accelerating feedback loop that we need to cut off.
