Wrath Of The Mummy Quest Glitch

I'm in the middle of the wrath of the mummy quest and I'm at the part where I'm supposed to talk to the bandit guarding the tomb. I went to the tomb and tried to enter and got teleported out, and when I talked to the bandit he skipped the part that registers the quest book update thing and just said the dialogue that he says after saying he wants the pink wool. Does anyone know how to fix this? EDIT: going to go and get a pink wool and see if that fixes the problem

It wasn't a glitch in the first place. Its your rite of passage into the tomb.
