Ok I'm back but I guess we're going to sleep. I will count this as a long rest now as y'all sleep after the fight. But warning, expect less long rests and more short rests coming up. Only way I can balance Alas against the rest of the party.

So Will O' Wisps feed off of anguish and despair. Knowing this, look back at their diologue.

When asking about the fight, they started bobbing when they were told everyone almost died. Then they settled down when they were told everything was alright.

The demon vs angel diologue was one of the bigger clues. They said demons cause anguish, then destroy. They were not upset about the anguish part, they were upset that demons destroy when they are done. When asked about the Gods by Florfy, they responded that they like the gods because when the gods are done they don't destroy, they keep the victim alive for more pain later. But this was easily passed over.

They mentioned they were there when Lilith attacked the town, they fed off of the despair she caused.

And lastly look at their interactions with the girl. They kept telling her that she caused all this. Why? Because it hurts her when they tell her this. They feed off of her pain.

You all thought they were ok creatures until you got to the girl, but I was dropping subtle hints the whole time :D
