for example
on the second one it says you did 2900 ish damage to a mob with 20k hp
yet he lost 3.4k hp
(the 600 thunder damage which wasnt visually shown

He had 420 raw spell damage.

 

I stated in the ss I have 210 raw spell
plus the spell multiplier 200% it is 420 dmg

 

thats not how it works
200% spell multiplier doesnt change 210 raw spell damage , nothing can change raw spell damage
you still had like 400 thunder damage

Since you've done nothing other than saying Jaydon's trial is false because its an experiment, I'm going to ignore this.

 

even though I agree that Tide > Idol
but against 0 water def Idol should do slightly better
you need a larger sampling size

 

we did 10 uppers on each, but yeah, I agree with that point.

Regardless, the fact that this even is a debate shows that idol is way way way underpowered.

 

Yep, Idol is definitely a letdown. We talked with Jacky and Tide ends up doing more average damage to players when they have over 200 water defense.
= pretty much every single time.
Also the negative thunder% defense on Tide actually removes negative raw defense, making items like Memento and Aquarius be way less of a problem.

Considering Idol came after Tidebinder, that is some very disappointing mythic design. It demands to get buffed. Or at least they have to change the defense formula like it no longer favors slower attacking weapons.

At least that is what he told me. I'd assume he had tried it already when he claimed that was how it worked, but yeah it needs to be officially confirmed.
