Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It's an event where people in bands come together to play music to a large crowd. You can come if you want, but it might be a bit loud." Artemis says happily.

 

Sgavrinn hesitates.
"How loud? Will I be okay if I stuff my ears with leaves?"

 

"Maybe some mud, too." Artemis advises.

"Hey Aj, do you need earplugs?" Abigail asks, leaning back in.

"Can't go deaf." I say casually.

"Artemis?" Abigail asks, smiling.

"Yeah, I need some." Artemis says happily.

"Alright!" Abigail says excitedly, disappearing from the doorway again.

 

"Can you help with the mud?" Sgavrinn asks, picking leaves from his tail.

 

"We can get some on the way there." Artemis says happily.

Abigail heads into the living room, smiling, sitting down and watching the television with Artemis and I.

 

"Okay!" Sgavrinn says, putting the leaves in his mouth, nuzzling Abigail as she sits down.

 

Abigail pets Sgavrinn, smiling as she watches the television.

A couple of hours later, Abigail gets up and heads upstairs, while Artemis and I appear to be getting ready to leave.

 

Sgavrinn waits (somewhat) patiently at the door.
"Miss Gaia got me thinking, Artemis... she said dragons are rare. What if someone tries to kidnap me?" He asks, sounding hardly concerned.

 

"Nobody will kidnap you while I'm around you. Dragons are rare because they were hunted, and if anyone tries to harm you, I won't be the only one protecting you." Artemis says confidently with a kind smile.

 

Sgavrinn nuzzles her, content.
"Think anyone will be jealous of you for having a rare pet?" He giggles, carefree.

 

"I'm not sure. Though, I'm quite sure they'll let me keep you with me, myself being a Forest Guardian and all." Artemis says happily.

 

"Just make sure nobody asks me to breathe fire, okay?" He asks, getting his leaves ready.

 

"I won't. I think there's going to be a large crowd, so people probably won't want any fire anyway." Artemis says, laughing slightly.

"Here's your earplugs, Artemis." Abigail says happily, handing Artemis a pair of green earplugs.

"Thanks, Abigail!" Artemis says happily, holding the earplugs tight.

"Are we flying to the concert?" I ask.

"I'd say best bet is flying. It's a bit of a walk." Abigail says, smiling.

Artemis glances at Sgavrinn, petting him.

 

"Can I carry everyone? Rineth does it all the time, plus I want to do something nice for Abigail and Aj!" Sgavrinn asks, nuzzling Artemis.

 

OOC: Sgavrinn, go home. You're drunk.

"Well, if you're feeling up to it, I'm sure they won't mind." Artemis responds happily.

"Sgavrinn wants to carry us to the concert. Do you two mind?" Artemis asks.

"If he wants to, I wouldn't mind at all." Abigail says, smiling.

"Eh, sure. Saves me the energy." I say casually.

 

"Gaia gave me a treat! I'm just hoping flying will let me fall asleep tonight!"

Sgavrinn walks up to you and Abigail, humming.

 

Abigail opens her front door, heading out to her platform above the lava and ushering the group to follow.

 

Sgavrinn leaps out, tagging along until he pauses.
"Mud?"

 

"We can get some when we land." Artemis says calmly.

Artemis, Abigail and I get onto Sgavrinn's back, ready to fly.

 

Sgavrinn takes off, just circling the volcano.
"Which way?"
