I will try and make this roleplay differnt from my other ones. This will not follow a fixed storyline like in my Legends Stories but will be set in a huge fantasy world with many different races and powers, in which players will build their own story and paths.

This is lore-heavy, and the players would be able to make almost any decisions. Once you die, though, your character won't be revived, so value your life!

    Welcome to Talmnátia!

Humans - normal humans who occupy Rehniar and Aurallim provinces. Can use magic if taught.
~Vilphans - mortal races (Human, elf or dwarf) who can form contracts with monsters (described below) and bind them. Powerful ones can merge with these monsters to gain power.

Elves - Immortal race of Light who don't care much about outside world. They are powerful magic users and fighters, and can be scary if roused.
~Al Forlingur Elves - like High Elves, they are the most stuck up but are oldest and wisest.
~Wood Elves - lives in Fumilan. They are good hunters and fight physically more than magically.

Dwarves - short, stocky, strong people who live in the Norinn mountains. Work well in a team. In a huge and hard war with goblins. no magic.

Amazons - group of female (sometimes male) nature magicians that live in the perilous Kurubiq Forest. They are descendants of humans who learnt magic from the world tree Yggdrasil.

Feldürim - Magic-heavy mages. They use a special magic called Feldür magic, which can be used to do anything by speaking magical spells.

Dragons - Ancient creatures living in Daruk Lytha. They can breath fire, etc, and can take human forms.

Monsters - Neutral spirits who can take many forms. Includes creatures like minotaurs, harpies, kitsune, manticore, etc. They can appear in human forms, but their power is limited in it. They are connected to the beliefs of the mortal races, so those with no beliefs or less magic cannot see them. (like dwarves and common human) When bound by a Vilphan, a monster can turn into a weapon or gear that represents their powers. (I will decide the weapon form)
These monsters can be categorized into classes according to their spiritual energy: F Class(lowest prankster level), E Class, D Class, C class, B Class(considered powerful, C class x 3), A Class(extremely rare, shit strong, B class x 5), and S Class(legendary class, about 10xA class)

Merfolk - merpeople that live underwater, their capital being Atlemdar. They can use water magic.

Rogues - Not much is known about them. Some are human, some are monsters in human form. They fight for the poor and the weak and frees monsters that are caught by Aurallim.

Demons - A name given to any creature of darkness (not monsters nor giants)
~Orcs - type of demon that live in Barthell. They are fighting creatures that hunt in packs. They cannot use magic, but are like the 'brutes'.
~Goblins and Trolls - type of demon that live in Draganom. They are in war with dwarves. Same as orcs, but live underground. Trolls are simply larger and stronger than goblins, but less intelligent.
~Morgalum - otherwise known as 'Mortal Demons'. They are like the wood-elves of darkness, only that they are well, mortal.
~Spirit demons - Most powerful type of demons. Can take many forms; some have appearances of a mortal, some prefer supernatural forms, surrounding themselves with shadow, fire, etc.

Giants - huge brutes that live in Arnuma. They are neutral. They have intelligence but are slow and sides with those they see worth in siding.

Aurallim is a human province, which rules over a huge amount of land. Contains villages Surract, Logaj, Lemin, Kaliplyn, Garusthem, Cithel, and towns Forden, Laakmil, Cites Mortem, Cites Torin and Cites Takith.

They are a rich, powerful, strict province like Fruma. They do not like monsters.

Aurallim's rival province, which has much smaller land. Contains villages Oaken and Sarmir, and towns Tornedd, Ramentr, Arcutnar and Lasdor.

They are hardworking, militarised province. They accept monsters.

Mountain range that separates Rehniar and Aurallim.

Home of Elves. Not much to say, but pure land, no monsters nor demons. Contains villages Jeymell and Eminum (misspelt in map), and towns Al Emminur and Al Tratti.

A huge town in Fumilan, with both humans and elves living together. An independent state, and owes no allegiance. They produce amazing warriors which are offered to Aurallim in return of protection.

Home of dwarves. Very steep mountains, with many underground tunnels. Contains villages Duggon and Borhel, and towns Ogovith and Truskan.

Home of the Feldürim. Floating islands, about to be corrupted by Varogunn. Has big town of Norhum Etla.

Heavily magical forest. Lots of dangerous monsters lurking around, even elves and demons are afraid to enter. Amazons live around Yggdrasil, which makes a safe haven.

Home of dragons. They live in the sky town of Sectorun Gon, on mountain Kehn.

A patch of only corrupted land in Talmnátia. Gateway to a seriously evil and dark dimension, and has a demon town named Gelfirm, or officially Gelfirm-Darzgar.
Surrounded by borders Canyon of Death, Zemboth Fong Forest, and the Unpassable plains. They all have terrible monsters lurking around. The unpassable plains are actually unpassable, with poison lurking in the air.

Aurallim and Rehniar are both at the height of tension as they both prepare for war against each other.
The Elves are getting bored, and uneasy.
The Dwarves are having an extremely shiity time fighting war all the time.
The Dragons.... are just there. Young ones sometimes come mainland for adventurers.
Amazons are the same as dragons.
Orcs are making a move, coming out of their walls and attacking nearby villages.
Most demons are dormant right now, but occasionally some spirit demons come out to do harm to people.
The Feldurim are busy fending off the corruption from Varogunn.

I will keep a lot of these information minimal, so the characters can find more about them in their journey

King of Aurallim (An old, old king with no heir)
The Council of Aurallim (four members)
Captains and knights (loyal to their king, does what they are told)

King of Rehniar (old one recently passed away, now a young one around 18)
    -Rumilius
    A Princess (King's sister)
    -Remilia
The Council (tries to take control)
Captains and knights (follow orders obediently)

Seminar's Lord (allied with many forces)

Elf Queen (not much is known)
Loyal councils (uncorrupt, support the Queen)

    Dwarf King
Twelve clans, and clan leaders. These clans support the dwarven army in every aspect of the war (food, building, forging, fighting)

    The Elder Dragon
(dragons are all independent, but they all follow the Elder One)

    Amazon Queen

    Orc Chief lord

    Goblin King

    Giant Chief

    Rumours of a Demon Lord...?

    'The Calamity Witch' - Unknown
'The Sins' - Powerful creatures are known as Pride, Gluttony, Wrath, Sloth, Envy, Lust and Greed.
'The Pawns' - The members of the cult who wear black and purple robes, with a mask. They have been genetically enhanced by the Witch herself.

More will be added when the actual thing starts

Fen'ris the Shrew - A mercenary Vilphan from Sarmir. He works for anyone if they give him payment.

Basil - A basilisk in service to Fen'ris. He has the power to kill everyone who looks at him, with the cost of huge mana. Turns into a headset which lets the user see 360 degrees when bound by a Vilphan.

Scar - A scorpion monster in service to Fen'ris. She turns into four legs and a tail that sprouts out of the user's back when bound by a Vilphan.

Wyrmin - A woodelf from Fumilan. He works for Lord Lyndarl of Seminar, and has a twin brother Kendel.

Rathius - A dragon traveller from Daruk Lytha. He sneaked out of the island, and now travels the land for knowledge and experience. A-Class.

'The Boy' - A mysterious boy whom Rathius meets in Lasdor. He can render his body so anything can pass through him. He seems to have no memory of his previous life.

Jastorel † - Former leader of the Rogues, Aurallim Division. He died fighting a medusa.

Vysticia - A former Rogue and Aurallim Assassin. She is apprenticed to the Scythe Setinel to train binding monsters and in the arts of killing.

Scythe Setinel - A Dullahan who goes by the name of 'Seth', and also is the 39th Reaper of Aurallim. He took Vysticia, Ben, Sylvia and Hasher for his apprentice to become the next Reapers. A-Class.

Sylvia - A former Rogue and a good friend to Vysticia.

Ben - A former Rogue, a friend to Vysticia.

Hasher - A former Rogue, a friend to Vysticia.

Asakeryu - A young kitsune who travels the world. With a strong sense of justice, he fights evil and as an ally to Rehniar, fights against Aurallim. C-class.

Zeisha - Former leader of a freelance merchant group, the Hellbirds. She is possessed by an A-class vampire named Dracelt. She is an ally to Rehniar and its Princess.

Debulan - Former member of the Hellbirds. He was bitten by a werewolf, thus turned into one. B-class.

Rondach - A monster with the ability to clone himself. A former member of the Hellbirds. B-class.

Max - A former Rogue and member of Hellbirds. She is a harpy. D-class.

Princess Remilia - The current Princess of Rehniar. She is the sister of the King, and is a captain of his army.

Lucifer - Princess Remilia's Royal Guard. He is a soldier retired from the front lines of the war.

Emily - The Princess's Royal Guard. She is a skilled archer and a childhood friend of Remilia.

Tisaun Sodeta - A former Rehniar captain, who lost most of his batallion from an Aurallian skirmish. He blames himself for their deaths, and travels the world for experience and magic. Has the power of the 'Uth'.

Larbi - A noble of Rehniar, who claims that he is right for the throne. He has been captured and arrested by the King.

Michael - A Delvolar sent from his homevillage to Seminar to learn about the other races. He fights with the Vilphan Luratos.

Luratos - A young Vilphan known to locals as the 'Guardian of Fumilan'. He is one of the most skilled Vilphan existing, and has two monsters, Jenna and Kaya, to his service. He has an apprentice Amazon named Mylith.

Jenna - A human girl possessed by an angel of life, Lavidar. The angel's healing factor does not let her body age, so she is over 600 years old. She was formerly in service to Nicolas Shade and fought with the other Legends in the war with the Eye. She changes into a pair of wings that heals the user's body when turned into a weapon by a Vilphan. B-class.

Kaya - A doulaxanti in service to Luratos. She turns into a pair of unbreakable chains that moves around and grows longer and shorter by the will of the user when bound by a Vilphan. C-class.

Mylith - An Amazon who trains under Luratos in the spirit arts and sword arts.

Jack Daniels - An Aurallian boy who is possessed by a B-class shadow demon named Xiudar. He ran away from civilization and now travels on his own.

Oh my god I'm taking a break too many NPCs

I want this RP to have 10 people or less.

It would be prefered if you guys would choose the classes with 1 or less people, because having too many similar characters can be boring.

Soldier - A regular human, no magic. Can be in Rehniar or Aurallim. Any weapon. Can be a captain of either army. (1/2 Slot)

Vilphan - A human, elf or dwarf, magic. Can belong to any group. A monster of choice. Weapons depend on the monster's transformation. (1/2 slot)

High Elf - An Al Forlingur Elf, high magical power. Have to follow Elf Queen. Wands are primary weapons. (0/1 Slot)

Woodelf - Any elf, works alone. Can have allegiance to any group. Best with bows, sometimes uses knives. (0/2 Slot)

Dwarf - A dwarf, no magic. Powerful battle abilities. Axe, hammer, hand cannon (basically guns) (0/2 Slot)

Amazon - An amazon, nature magic. Can communicate with wildlife, order animals to do your bidding. Swords, Bows, Spears. (0/1 slot)

Feldürim - A Feldür magician, high magic. Battle only with magic, manipulation of energy that can move matters. Wands only. (0/1 slot)

Dragon - A dragon in human form, no magic. Inhuman strength and reflexes. When dragons choose to take human forms, their calm, calculating side leaves to the human mind, and the dragon body is left with its raw power. Once they choose to have two forms, the human form and dragon forms should be treated as two different people altogether. Dragon class can turn into their dragon form, but they won't remember much of what happens, as well as draining them of energy completely after transforming back. Hand-to-hand combat weapon of choice. (1/1 slot)

Original Monster - Make a character with special abilities, e.g. raising the dead, manipulating wind, etc. I will fit the character into a monster that I choose from other mythologies and give you a class. Then you will decide the character's backstory, powers, etc. (3/3 slots)

Possessed - An individual who has been possessed by a monster. This is the only other way of merging with a monster if you're not a Vilphan. Follows the similar possession system in Legends II, the person will retain their consciousness, while the monster can commute with the host's mind and lend them power. This is mostly caused by some sorts of accidents. (1/2 slots)

Rogue - A human, dragon or monster belonging to the Rogues group. Wear dark cloaks, small weapons that can be hidden (swords, knives, but no spear, bow, etc.). (1/2 slot)

Spirit Demon - A demon, dark or fire magic. Form has to be one that can be disguised as a human. Have to be neutral, can serve anyone they want (even Light). Cannot work with other demons, make a reason for that. (2/2 slot)

(There will be no players that are from Evil factions. Players can turn and side with evil, but none are demons of Varogunn, orc, troll or goblin.)

Soldier - Hand to hand combat, easy interaction with others. As I said, they can be commanders or captains in the human armies. Or they can be adventurers, seeking to learn magic from elves or something. They can 'learn' a special skill, which is like the spells in Wynncraft. You can choose these Skills, as well as naming them.

Vilphan - They can bind monsters to contracts. That makes their ability valuable since monsters are considered a wild, uncontrollable force. I can tell you the exact wording of the contract spell if you do choose Vilphan. The spell will drain your energy to a point you are almost unconscious, so you can't do it in battle. When bound, the monster can be kept in its spirit form inside your body, but that will slowly ebb your energy away. The easiest way is to let them out all the time in human forms. For a limited time, a Vilphan can merge with his/her monster(s), changing the monsters' bodies into weapons or gears.

For example, a scorpion monster can merge with a Vilphan, giving the Vilphan scorpion limbs and tail with which they can fight.

High Elf - They are scholars, and are calm and cool. They use Light magic, which they manipulate using their wands made from the sacred trees in Al Eminur. They can fight hand to hand, but do not prefer doing so. They can talk with friendly lesser and nature spirits, from which they can borrow elemental powers. High Elves despise monsters, even though they are considered spirits.

Woodelf - Extremely skilled hunters and archers. They like to hide amongst trees, but can fight in the open, and also can use knives. They do not use magic, and like the High Elves, despise monsters. Woodelves like to work alone. Unlike the High Elves, Woodelves have no specific allegiance, so they sometimes work with humans. They can be explorers, hunters, or mercenaries. They can erase their presence to sneak up on people, but cannot turn invisible.

Dwarf - Dwarves cannot use magic for offence, but can forge items with magical capabilities. Dwarves are short, but they are stoic and strong, with extremely long durability. They work amazingly in teams but are somewhat vulnerable individually. (A dwarf can team with people of other races, and he will be not so vulnerable) They forge themselves powerful armours and weapons such as Battle-Axe, War-Hammer, and Hand Cannons.

Amazon - Amazons are good warriors, their life force directly connecting with the World Tree in Kurubiq, Yggdrasil. More frequently the Amazon is disconnected from Yggdrasil, the least they are affected when the Tree is damaged. They can commute with animals and are able to make them do their bidding. Amazons love nature, so they only ask animals to do a non-dangerous job, as a favour. They are like the woodelves: nimble and good at fighting. Their traditional weapons are swords, but they can use bows. They can ask trees to fight with them, too.

Feldürim - The Feldürim can control an energy force that can move matter. They are like telekinesis, but can only be activated through the use of magical spells. Since these spells are extremely complicated, you can just say something like 'the wizard cast a spell that collected the water into a ball and launched it towards the enemy'. The bigger your spells are, the more mana is taken from you. You have about 30 mana normally, and it takes about 5 minutes to refill. Basically one mana every ten seconds. I will tell you how much the spell you cast costs in term of mana. A Feldürim can use mana stored in gemstones to cast bigger spells.

Dragon - In human form, the dragons have inhuman strength that does not match their appearance and lightening reflexes. They appear as normal humans, but there are markings on one of their cheeks and their backs, indicating their dragon blood. They can release their dragon form, in which they can breathe fire, use their massive weight, claws and fangs to cause damage. Once they are in dragon form, a dragon's personality will change drastically, becoming more violent.

Monster - Like a mutant from my dead rp Rebels. (remember? lol) Once you have a power you specifically want to use, I will decide the monster for you. If you choose Monster as your class, you are unlikely to be bound by Vilphans, but the possibilities are not 0. Similar to Dragons, Monster class has two forms, their true form and their human form. Their human form reflects their monster form, like minotaur will be still bulky and hairy in their human form. In your human form, you can use your monster's power to a certain degree. You have to be fully transformed to use your full power.

Rogue - Rogue is an organisation, so you have to choose your main class from the others. (High Elves and Dwarves won't be in Rogues.) Your abilities will change according to your main class.

Spirit Demon - A Spirit Demon isn't necessarily evil. In fact, I don't want any of these characters to be evil, as in the side of the Darkness. A Spirit Demon can take any forms, and like dragons and monsters, have human and true forms. I'll leave everything to you when deciding what the demon will look like and its powers, but a demon's power have to be related to fire or shadow.
If Fire, it's a fire demon. It's fiery attacks will cause a high damage. If it's a Shadow Demon, you will have the power to blend into shadows, use shadow as projectiles, etc.

I might have to change your backstory a bit, and add stuff into it. Please don't choose a class that is taken before you by two people.

Choose one of the classes, then make a character profile. If you need help with making a character PM me.

    Rules

This RP includes travelling, exploring, fighting, interacting with NPCs and other players.

    Do not godmode or metagame.

I want to make this as realistic as possible, with a lot of NPCs and with lores. You must use strategy against your enemies, as there is a chance they can kill you too.

Be friendly and respectful towards others! Do not try to mess up the world, as I made a lot of effort in making it.

    ***

WE ARE SHORT ON PEOPLE ANYWHERE OTHER THAN REHNIAR. Being in Rehniar is fine, but you will be forced to spread around later.

WE ARE ALSO SHORT ON FEMALE CHARACTERS! Like the important NPCs have to be female to balance all this out lol (Vysticia, Remilia, Zeisha...)

With the dragon class, what does it mean to "lose control"?

YAY just the kind of RP I enjoy the most. ^^

Holy shit wow dude! That is an incredibly well done map! ;D

So with the classes are abilities already made? Not sure how I like that system :/
And I'd like some information on what the classes specifically can do.
There are so many classes I want to be though XD
BTW you haven't put slots for Rogues, Spirit demons or original monsters. Is that intentional?
Like @Florfy5 I'd like to know more about the dragons. I'm not sure I understand them. Aren't dragon their natural form? If so why does it take effort to be a dragon for them? Also why do they loose control? I'm not sure I understand it sorry ^^
Also what is mana used for? Because with dragon you loose all your mana, but you can't use magic anyway so it doesn't matter, right?

Even though it is probably not necessary can I get a spot reserved? :)

And I really like this RP. It is very detailed and you can see that you've spent a lot of time creating it. I'd like a bit more information about some things though. I trust that I will get it :)
Overall I am excited to join this RP when it begins. ^^

Wow...Im impressed with all of the detail and work. I do have a question about the original monster class. Do you have to be evil? And would it be possible to be an independent monster made of lightning magic?

Oh yeah... I have to change stuff with dragons, don't I?

Dragon - A dragon in human form, no magic. Inhuman strength and reflexes. When dragons choose to take human forms, their calm, calculating side leaves to the human mind, and the dragon body is left with its raw power. Once they choose to have two forms, the human form and dragon forms should be treated as two different people altogether. Hand-to-hand combat weapon of choice.

    Alright.
Soldier - Hand to hand combat, easy interaction with others. As I said, they can be commanders or captains in the human armies. Or they can be adventurers, seeking to learn magic from elves or something. They can 'learn' a special skill, which is like the spells in Wynncraft.

I forgot about that, sorry. I'll add them soon.

As I said above in this post, they don't have to be evil. A 'monster' is a rough term, and can include good monsters like angels, phoenixes, kitsunes, etc.

And yes, it will be possible to be an independent monster made of lightning magic. I would recommend thunderbird, but maybe you want to choose some monsters from other mythologies. You can always create a new monster if you want.

    Name: Fen'ris the Shrewd
    Age/Gender: 35/Male
    Race: Human
    Class: Vilphan
Personality: As the title suggests, shrewd. Cunning, egotistical, flamboyant, objective, doesn't care what happens if he has nothing to do with it.
Weapon of Choice: A normal dagger
Secondary weapon: A dagger that's infused with earth magic
Description: Tall, almost always cloaked, black hair, light skin, relatively normal physique, black eyes.
Backstory: Fen'ris the Shrewd is known throughout all of Rehniar for being the shrewdest man living there. Not much is known about him, as there are conflicting stories about his past. Some say he was born into a wealthy family and ran away. Others say he was born into a poor family and aquired wealth and fame through crime. What's certainly known is that Fen'ris is known to deal with the king pins of the underworld and the highest of nobility. He carries out deals for contraband, assassinations, blackmail, and other things you'd expect him to do. The police can never seem to get him, as they also depend on him to find criminals. He's currently in Oaken assassinating a pretender to the throne.
    Others: None

Ohhhh you reminded me of something. I forgot to make another class, which is Possessed.

    Possessed
    - An individual who has been possessed by a monster. This is the only other way of merging with a monster if you're not a Vilphan. Follows the similar possession system in Legends II, the person will retain their consciousness, while the monster can commute with the host's mind and lend them power. This is mostly caused by some sorts of accidents.

Welcome! I'm not really sure if this guy is evil or not. Does he assassinate corrupted people? Or is he some kind of vigilante?

He's more like a for hire guy.

He'll do anything as long as you can pay him.

One minute he's assassinating a pretender to the throne, the next he's stealing important documents from the government.

Okay, reserve a slot for me.

By the way, if I were to be a monster, what would my weapons be?

    Okay.

Since you are a Vilphan, the next thing you need is a monster!
You said you have a dagger infused with earth magic. Do you want your monster to be earth-related?
It depends on which type of abilities you'd like to gain from the 'merging' with your monster.

Your hands, claws, whatever you have on your body. As a monster, you can have whatever weapons in human form. I keep using a minotaur for examples, but they are depicted as carrying axes, right? If you're a kitsune, maybe your illusion magic is a weapon.
Light-infused daggers, a katana, whatever you want to give your character.

    Sounds interesting, I love RP
One question though: how would battling work? Do you just use a dice, or you go like "I hit him and takes 6 damage"?

I'd rather not use dice. I'll go with strategies, like you get choices to how you will attack, and I will make the NPC enemy counter it.

They cannot. Dragons can talk to each other in dragon form, though.

I'm think a basilisk or a large snake would do fine actually.

That's good. What will be his name? I will give you the monster's stats. Maximum monsters a Vilphan can bind is three. Another one? Keep the last one open tho.

Basilisk and Snake are the same things, only that Basilisk have a deadly gaze, there's no difference otherwise
EDIT: are they both males btw?
