Info About Old Nether And Adventurer Armor

I used to have the old adventurer set, but i had not played since the removal of vip town. I had to identify my set and it has become the new one. Is it supposed to have done that or stayed as the old?

Does this apply to Pre-Gavel items, ones that didn't get converted at the update? I've heard people buy those for a lot of money but I've also heard that selling them isn't allowed but I'm not sure how true that is.

 

You aren't allowed to trade items that didn't get updated to the new system

So i have the old adventurer's set with the light blue color what should i do with it?

 

Keep it for bragging rights? Or toss it out for 4 more inventory slots. Not much else you can do.

 

Can these items still be dropped by mobs? I have never seen a mob drop any of these

 

iirc the drops are limited to certain areas and mobs

Someone should go back two years in the past, tell past me not to spend 12 stacks on a clean set of nether armor, and say that someday I'll thank them.
