Community Event The Mysterious Diary | Puzzle Giveaway

[Introduction]

While you and your party are travelling in Gavel, you come across a strange cave. You enter confidently, prepared to find a loot chest or two. After defeating some spiders, you notice a wall that looks out of place; the cave is made of plain stone, while the door is made of polished granite. The granite slides away like a door, hissing as it opens, as your party approaches it. You look into the revealed room, and you see a desk with a journal.

You approach the journal carefully and open it. At once, the room brightens, but the granite door slams shut.

The first page of the journal is blank. However, after a few moments, ink begins to appear on the journal, slowly forming words. The first page of the journal then reads:

"Well, well! You’ve stumbled upon my journal. Perhaps if you continue reading, you might learn more about me and win some prizes!
(Redeem at shop in the corner)"

(For puzzles, the question will be BOLDED AND CAPITALIZED, explicit things to solve or decode will be in red, and the diary entries always hint at the solution to the puzzle. Read everything carefully and have fun! Each solved puzzle is worth 1 token, so hopefully you don't run us dry too quickly ^^")

Dear Diary,

I was walking through a cave, when suddenly natural gas began pouring from the walls! Panicking, my party member sent a meteor at the source of the gas, as to burn it all up. I, however, was in the blast radius. My armor caught on fire, but I didn’t fear; for I knew the key to fire safety is to stop, drop, and roll! I put out my armor, and with the help of some good teamwork, we put out everyone else's too. Chemistry amongst a team is always important. Well, see you tomorrow Diary.”
The signature below is illegible.

“Having read all that,

• Decrypt first hint with atbash
• “FIRE SAFETY IS LAFTHVWVYHTDLASHHTCCUYPJ
• Decrypt LAFTHVWVYHTDLASHHTCCUYP with “STOPDROPROLL” as the key with a vigenere cipher, getting “THREE EIGHT IS THE SECOND KEY”
• The hydrocarbon (flammable gas) with three carbons and eight hydrogens is propane. Use propane as the key to decode “XCWZELFXSOXNHW” to get “I LIKE SHIBA INUS”

On the next page, a frisbee-sized token apparates out of the book. Knuckles4212

Today, right outside of Ragni, we met this really cute dog. I named him ‘shibber’ but our party leader said we couldn’t keep him. I got a painter to draw him though; apparently it was really hard to keep him in this position. Shiba inus really are my favorite!”

Looking to your left, you see a small table in the corner of the room. Walking up to the table, a nebulous spirit fades into existence.

“Yyyoooouuuuurrrr ttooookkkennnnssss pllleeaaasseeee…” it groans.

Next to the table is a cardboard box labelled “tokens.” You throw in the tokens you have and look at the items on the table.

Will there be anymore hints or no?

 

If really no one can get it after a while. Everything you need it there though, as long as you have knowledge of common ciphers. Read up a bit on some basic cryptography if you haven't; it's pretty interesting!

Basic Cryptology and Cipher Knowledge? I've gone through pretty much all the basic ciphers and haven't found a correct code for the remaining of the message.
