Gm Application

so the other day i applied to gm and the application got denied, and im perfectly fine with that, but there was on part that kinda pissed me off, on the forums they told me to put the whole speech of the quest rather than putting one part only, but I put the inital speech only because it said so, if you do not know when you are filling the application it says to write the initial speech only, and I did that, but I have all of the speech but I didn't write it because it said only write the intial dialogue, now again, I am not writing this because I am salty or mad, I am writing this because maybe someone else does the same thing at his application may be denied. Correct me if I am wrong please.

 

Unless I am misunderstanding something, you are supposed to put the initial dialogue in the first box and the rest of the quest stages in the second. The "initial dialogue" is the first exchange with the NPC when you first start the quest, so all the dialogue before [quest started: quest name] shows up.

The rest goes in quest stages.

Allow me to confirm:

It says 'what will the first NPC tell the player when they begin the quest'
and you wrote the dialog of your first stage only.
Then you got a message in a conversation telling you to put the entire dialog of the quest where it says 'initial dialog'

Ye, I think he understood that, but then he was told to put the entire Quest Dialog into that section.

 

Exactly what happened with me, it said in the application website to put only the intial dialogue and when i received a message from wynncraft they told me to put ALL of the dialogue. @wrxryuu also in the second part as of what i know you put the messages that the quest book says, example: return to // for your prize. Collect [//] for //

 

Honestly I would just write out the whole speech/quest dialogues for the best results. I did that from the start and still got my application denied 3 times, but mainly because the quest structure was bad in general. You can apply an infinite number of times, so just keep that in mind next time you apply.

Also, the quest book stages are for each transition in the quest. Each time you complete the task listed in the quest book, you receive the next stage of the quest, which updates the quest book (shown by the "[Quest Book Updated]" message in chat). Just mimic the ones you see in game, and you should be fine with the structure of the stages.
