Vintage Items

Ive read the wynncraft rules that vintage items(pre-gavel) are allowed for sale? But I've heard different answers from various people. Can I get a confirmation?

 

Depends on the nature of the item. Glitched and vanilla items are not allowed to be sold, any normal ones are.

 

Items with enchantments (original use of powders) and a Norma fierte, ex. Dam: xxx to xx

I feel like there's no harm selling these items, they were earned legitleg, and they don't change the game

 

Some items aren't allowed because mods don't want people making bank off of certain things.

For example, I am not allowed to sell a Blue Mask for extra just because it's diamond, because I'm making bank over it.

I see your point, so they don't want an item to be expensive for the sake of it, like an item being expensive because it's old right?

@Pretzule correct me if I'm wrong but glitched/vanilla items are illegal to sell, items that didn't get updated to the new system are illegal to sell.
Items with enchantments are legal to sell but under colored set rules, for the same price as if it wasn't enchanted.

 

Ah, don't sell that. Just keep it as a souvenir I don't want people to start selling their old items for high amounts for the sake that they're old.

But why not? If there is somone out there that wants to spend a lot of money on this item, let him have it. Its his money... Unles it harms something or somone. What it doesnt do in this case, its not a item that can be abused.

 

Eehhh the main reason why we don't like to do that is because it is scamming, if both players know the worth of it and they both know that it being older does not mean it is more valuable then I suppose it could work. But honestly it just kind of makes it complicated. It would just be better if old items did not cost more just for the sake of being old items.
