Xlentia goes back to laying down, watching for anyone else who enters.

 

(Latter is Xlentia to Crystal, sorry)

 

Xlentia senses someone invisible enter her chambers, walking over to Stephanie.

 

Xlentia glances in their direction, on guard.
"If I die, her plans are for naught. Make sure that gets across."

 

Zip Zop Zoop, aaaand....

"We should probably be finding some engineers, actually."

"I was just wondering if you knew any good engineers."
Crystal pips up.

 

"Duh."


"Sorry, sweetie, I don't. None that are alive, at least."

 

"Where do we start looking? I don't know this place well."

"Really? Nobody?"

 

"Whatever." Shadow Stephanie says, picking Stephanie up and leaving.

 

"Only place left would be to check if there's any in cryostasis."

"Sorry, nobody. If I find one, I'll send them your way, though!"

"Ihra bound herself to me. If you want to revive her, don't forget that."

 

"Don't know where this is, so lead the way."

"Okay, thanks!"
Crystal starts to leave, then turns around.
"I should actually stay here until Stephanie wakes up. She might be able to get in touch with Aj or Abigail."

 

Rineth heads out of the bunk room.

"I'd talk to Shadow Stephanie. If anyone knows Stephanie, it'd be her shadow."

 

"Mmhmm, I agree." Shadow Stephanie says, clearly not listening.

As Shadow Stephanie leaves, Xlentia senses another presence replace her, making a beeline for her gold pile.

 

I follow suit.

"Oh, okay thanks! Get back to me!"
Crystal energetically jogs out of the room.

 

Xlentia spreads her wings to wall off her gold pile.
"I offer you an honest deal and you try to pull this shit on me?!" She growls.

He enters another side door, cryotubes everywhere.

"Will do, hon. Stay safe."

 

The presence starts climbing Xlentia's wing, clearly wanting to get to her gold. There's a sharp pain in Xlentia's wing as the presence digs into it to climb.

 

Her wings go up to the ceiling, and she doesn't seem to mind the pain.

 

I continue to follow.

Crystal's about to leave, but hears the commotion and hangs back a bit, but still watches.

 

Rineth looks around for something, but doesn't seem to find it.
"You see a console?"

Xlentia seems to be protecting her gold, hypnofire building up in her mouth.

 

There's a sad meow as the presence slides down Xlentia's wing.

Xlentia can just about see Onyx sliding down her wing.

 

Xlentia sighs.
"Were you Sapphire's little friend?" She asks, sloping her wing so it's not a vertical drop.
