Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Let's go."
I start walking.
"We could ask Xelentia. She might know a person. She is like, the god here, after all."

 

"You might be able to get what you want, if you can get me what I want." Stephanie says wryly, smirking.

 

"Are you asking for your favor from me?" She asks, uneasy.

"I'll be heading to the bunk room with Thirteen. You're free to talk to Xlentia about it if you think it'd be faster."

 

"We both have something the other wants. If you can get me what I want, I'll forgive you for fucking murdering me by crushing my entire body under your pile of gold." Stephanie says, losing her cool a little bit.

 

Xlentia sighs.
"Under one condition; you stop call me a murderer. You know well I wasn't myself."

 

"Alright, friend," Stephanie says, forcing a smile, "Shall I call you Mistress like the others? Or just Xlentia?"

 

"Just Xlentia. I'm not your boss or anything. I mean, unless you start working for me. Which I doubt's going to happen."
She hesitates.
"Also, your incenserity reminds me of my younger days. Please remove the sarcasm if at all pissible."

 

"Okay! See ya!"
Crystal starts running to Xelentia's chambers, before realizing he still has a spear and starts going upstairs.
"Lead the way."
I offer.

 

"Alright..." Stephanie says, calming down, "It's been...an experience, going from death to life to rebirth to life..."

 

Linoa heads towards the bunk room, her spear acting like a witch's broom.

"And it's been an experience being forced to watch someone else puppet my body as I ruined everything I ever knew..." Xlentia sighs.
"...so, what can I hopefully help you with?"

 

"I want to bring Ihra back, and I need to use you to do it." Stephanie says, serious.

 

I fly after her, and Crystal places the spear back, then heads to Xelentia's chambers.

 

Xlentia seems shocked.
"H-holy shit... u-uhm..."
She tries to calm herself down.
"I kind of need four other gods to do that, a-and... um... the four realms I opened kind of have links to their domains..."

Linoa seems to fly straight onto a grumpy Rineth, as Crystal finds Stephanie talking to Xlentia.

"Find anyone?"
I ask Rineth.

Crystal opts hanging back a bit respectfully.

 

"I've been doing my research. Who needs four gods when you can just do it yourself?" Stephanie asks.

"Oh, hey Crystal." Stephanie says, waving to Crystal happily upon noticing him.

 

Crystal just waves, staying back until you two are finished with each other.

 

"No."
"You were just sulking, weren't you?"
"Shut up!"

Xlentia shows her a tendril, mostly black with a slight blue tige at the tip.
"See, the only problem is this is the strength I have remaining. You guys did a real number on me, so unless you want to wait a decade, I need four other gods."

 

Stephanie summons her tome, flipping through the pages.

"And why do you need the four other gods?" Stephanie asks as she searches.

 

"Gods here use thirty charges to stay conscious. You left me with thirty one." Xlentia sighs.

 

I chuckle.
