Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

The figure nods, before looking around for her stalker.

 

"I was just going to watch for a while, kill some time."
I turn to Crystal.
"We're waiting for Aj or his friends at this point, Emerald thought the starmap in that broken ship could be fixed, at which point she can use it."
"Can Aj really fix it?"
"I'm thinking Abigail might be able to, actually."

 

Turning around, she bumps straight into an invisible figure.

"Starmap? The hell are you guys going?!" Linoa asks, curious.

 

"Who are you?" The figure says through a note, holding it up.

 

"That's what we're trying to figure out."
I answer, blunt.

 

Silence.

Linoa seems dumbfounded.
"Rephrase... where did you find it?"

 

The figure tries poking the invisible stalker.

 

They feel armored.

 

The figure shrugs, going back to her book.

 

"On a broken ship through the portal labeled 'The Wandering Myth'".

 

The stalker bashes the figure in the back at a medium force with their armor, still remaining otherwise silent.

"Sivius?"

 

The figure just keeps reading, as if nothing happened.

 

"Indeed."

 

The stalker decides to lean against her and read along.

"Pretty ambitious..." Linoa laughs.
"Well, we didn't get this far with nothing."

 

The figure quickly shuts the book, putting it away. She decides to take out some blue tac instead, knowing the stalker will most likely be there a while, and plays with it idly.

 

She feels her book phase out of her cloak and vanish.

 

It seems the book was never in her cloak, almost as if it had disappeared from the dimension.

 

"Well, we've gotten leads many others haven't."
"Really?"
"According to Emerald, and some of the books I read, yeah."

 

The stalker sighs, cutting a small hole in the cloak.

"Sounds fun."
"You inviting yourself to another outing, Linoa?"
"Heh... maybe. Depends on Crystal."

 

The stalker is soon met with a hearty kick to the head, strong enough to send them at least falling to the ground.

The figure sits back down again, continuing to play with her blue tac.
