Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"I'm gonna try to take the metal, okay?"
"Go ahead, just don't burn me."
Crystal tries again, but tries to take the melted metal by trying to fuse it within him.

 

"Everything is controlled by something. What if they could no longer cut? If they lost the power to?" I ask.

 

It fuses, but disappears as the dummy phases again.

"Then they never would have come."

 

"So then there's no risk if we ever stop." I say, heading toward the dining hall.

 

Ragnyon sighs.
"Let me rephrase this; my home is fucked if you don't help me, so for my sake and Ihra's wish, please continue helping us."

 

"I never said I would stop." I say.

 

"Awww."
Crystal says, disappointed.
"Hey, it was a good idea. That'd probably work mid-battle, depending on the armor."
"Right."
"If these dummies disappear to fix themselves, what do you think the other ones do?"
"...I dunno, let's check them out!"
We start making our we over to the other dummies we saw, and I take a good look.

 

"Just making sure." Ragnyon says, relieved.

They all disappear to fix themselves, judging from an archer training with a blindfold. However, they're all different materials, some stronger than others.

 

We look at the different kinds.

 

There's a light, medium, and dark grey along with a pitch black block. The steel was the medium grey block, so by color, you guess there's two denser metals and a less dense metal.

 

I head into the dining hall, sitting down and ordering some food when a waitress walks over.

"I'll have a steak and kidney pie, a side of bacon and eggs and an apple, orange aaand...honey heart. No, wait, cinnamon heart." I say.

"What would you like?" The waitress asks Ragnyon.

 

"U-uhm... I'm fine, thanks, but Sgavrinn could probably eat an entire animal." Ragnyon says, dodging the question.
Sgavrinn perks up.

 

"What kind of animal?" The waitress asks, taking the statement literally.

 

Ragnyon just turns red.
"A-aj, please help..."
Sgavrinn turns to you with puppydog eyes.

 

Crystal starts rushing over to the pitch black one, but I quickly stop him.
"Maybe we should do more of an escalation. Go to the dark grey one, okay?"
"Alright..."
We walk over to the dark grey one, and I take a good analysis of it.

 

It seems to be some kind of alloy you don't recognize.
It seems to be a similar base color to draconian armor.

 

"Uh, a pig." I say, shrugging.

"Alright! I'll bring you your food when it's ready." The waitress says happily, walking off.

A while later, the waitress returns. She places three plates in front of me, one with a pie, the other with bacon and eggs and the third with three human hearts on, tied up. They appear to be coloured green, orange and light brown. The waitress walks off, before returning and slamming a dead, yet fresh, pig in front of Sgavrinn.

"Enjoy!" The waitress says happily, walking off.

 

Sgavrinn plows through the pig faster than you can finish your meal, though his face is covered in blood. The broken skeleton is all that's left.
Ragnyon seems to be squeezing her eyes shut and trying not to inhale.

 

"Ishere a probwem?" I ask Ragnyon, mouth dripping with orange blood as I hold a half-eaten orange heart.

 

She doesn't respond, and Sgavrinn sniffs at your face before laying back down.
