Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Sgavrinn tries humming a forest guardian melody to be less intimidating.

 

The faerie seems rather confused, darting nearer to Artemis.

"Hello." Artemis says calmly, looking at the faerie.

"H-Hello." The faerie says nervously.

"My name's Artemis. None of us mean you harm." Artemis says, smiling kindly.

"Y-Your dragon is scary." The faerie says worriedly.

"He's not a hunting dragon, as much as I'd like him to be. He's more of a pet." Artemis says.

"He's n-not going to try and eat me?" The faerie asks, clearly intimidated.

"Probably." I say, smirking.

Artemis glares at me, and the faerie darts onto Artemis' shoulder, scared.

 

"Ow."
Crystal more comments than exclaims.
"Sorry."
"It's okay, I'm fine, just hurts a bit."
"Try shifting to attack, I'll support you."
Crystal shifts his left hand into a hammer, thinning his armor state. He then swings the hammer onto the dummy's left shoulder.

 

Sgavrinn nuzzles Artemis' foot, looking up at the faerie longingly.

It dents both it and Crystal. After phasing, the damage is gone.

 

The faerie looks rather scared, staying on Artemis' shoulder.

"Don't we need to like...get Ragnyon from the portal room or something?" I ask.

"Oh, yeah. We should probably go get her." Artemis says, laughing slightly.

"Uhm...s-see you around, then." The faerie says, before flying away.

"Bye! Stay safe out there!" Artemis says, waving to the faerie before stepping through the portal after me.

 

Crystal reforms back into armor.
"Hard stuff."
I don't answer, analyzing it more.

 

Sgavrinn is literally right on your heels.

It seems to be a solid block of steel.

 

"I think I'll go find Katie, and go see Abigail." Artemis says.

"Alright. See you in a bit?" I ask.

"Sure thing." Artemis says, smiling. The pair of us kiss before heading our separate ways, myself heading to an elevator and teleporting to the portal room.

 

Sgavrinn keeps following you, picking up an annoyed Ragnyon.
"How the hell did you actually manage to pull that off when you can't read?!" She half-shouts.

 

"Greetings." I say.

 

"O-oh... um... hi. I'm sorry about Abigail..." Ragnyon sighs. "I was supposed to tell you all to get ready to go. We have access to four realms, with a little bit of info why we may be interested in going to each."

 

"Yeah. Just a little bit of advice, try and show some care if Abigail confesses the fact she's scared deep down," I say flatly, "Though four realms sound fun. Are we going to be getting Thirteen, Dominus, all that jazz?"

"I can't help but think our group has shrunk quite a bit over time..." I say offhandedly, almost lost in thought.

 

"Yes. And yeah, are group has shrunk... but four realms means chances for allies. Allies we sure as hell need..."

 

"I can honestly see why Abigail would want to go home. We've been away from it for about a year now, even I feel like I kind of want to go back to how things were," I say, "Just Artemis, Stephanie, Shadow Stephanie, Aj and I chilling at home. This adventure has brought us closer together and separated us at the same time."

 

"I can understand. However, you also walk away stronger, more seasoned, and more equipped."

 

"Try using some magic."
I suggest.
"Oh, yeah that might work."
Crystal makes a simple blade out of his hand, and ignites it, and proceeds to slice at the neck, with my support.

 

It cuts deeper, but not all the way.
The melted metal seems to try and fuse with Crystal until it phases, condition resetting.

 

"Yeah, I guess. I just hope none of us fall in the coming battles we're sure to face, like Stephanie," I say, sighing, "But...she's being reborn. I'm sure everything will be good soon."

I head into the elevator, turning the dials.

 

Sgavrinn follows.
"I just fear that if you stop now, my reality will succumb and he will turn to yours, if not others." Ragnyon comments.

 

"How would he even locate, much less get to our reality?" I ask.
