"Do you think he's still awake?"

"Woah, they're here too?"
Crystal seems almost amazed, as I see busy.

 

"Rineth? Likely. He's not sleeping."

 

"I'll go talk to him, then."
I turn to Crystal.
"Crystal, meet me back at the training room."
"Wait, why? Aren't you coming with?"
"I am, but I've got to talk Rineth out of possibly ending his own life, first."
"Can I come?"
I think about this for a moment.

 

"The more numbers you have going, likely the more he'll turn around and realize it wasn't just Ihra talking to a handful of you asking to make him feel wanted."

 

"Yeah, but, then..."
I trail off.
"Nevermind. Crystal, you can come along, but I think we need to go now."
"I'll be right behind you!"
I start flying off to the bunk room,

as Crystal turns to Gaia.
"Sorry, Gaia, but I gotta go! Nice meeting you!"
Crystal then turns into a wolf-like form, running after me quickly.

 

"I need him alive, too, but he doesn't care about my word." Xlentia quickly utters as you fly off.

 

Once I get to the bunk room, I look around, having never seen it before.

 

It is what it sounds like; a room full of beds, and for half of them, draconians or guardians sleeping in them. A few others have chinera curled up on the blankets, snoring away.

Rineth's curled up off to the side, face in a corner.

 

As Crystal catches up with me, I point to Rineth and Crystal nods.
We walk over to him, seeing if we can squeeze by to look him on the eyes.

 

His eyes are shut, but there's enough room to get between his eyelids and the wall.

 

"To whom?" Gaia asks kindly, trying to soothe Rineth.

Mortius oberves the map for a bit.

"Ah, thank you very much. I'll make sure to go there after I've checked on Gaia. Sometimes I wonder what she's be like without me around to keep her in check." Mortius says, sounding like he's about to leave.

"Tiff's in the library if you want to see her!" Gaia calls after Crystal happily.

 

Not making my steps silent, I try fitting in that space, and Crystal follows in my steps.

Crystal seems to have taken what you said, but also just runs off.

 

Gaia laughs slightly, watching Crystal go.

 

"Artemis. Aj. Not you." He utters.

Rineth opens an eye reluctantly.
"T-thanks for coming... I was j-just hoping the rest of the g-group shared y-your sentiment."

 

Gaia thinks for a bit.

"The...child of mine in a relationship with...the king of Tenebrae's realm?" Gaia asks.

 

"Yes. Them. Their group is... w-was... my group."

 

"Rineth, I'm sure they do. I just got the news from Xelentia. We all like you, Rineth, really."

 

"So...you'd want to leave them behind? Are they not still your group?" Gaia asks sympathetically.

 

"I know, b-but... it's Stephanie I'm worried about..."

"T-they are, but... things change when I f-fail them..."

 

"How do you think you failed them?" Gaia asks kindly.
