Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Gaia smiles happily, her hair and eyes tinting slightly red.

"Thanks! I do hope I end up finding him." Gaia says happily, standing back up.

 

"Well, tell me if you do, okay?"
Crystal cheerily asks, hopefully.

 

"I shall, Crystal!" Gaia says happily, beaming with joy. Gaia's positive presence seems to make things a lot better.

 

OOC: With all this positivity, it's hard to think about the fact that she'll probably never meet him.

Crystal smiles, and I butt in.
"So, what are you up to, Gaia?"

 

"I'm mainly just exploring this reality and looking for unique plants and people. It's so interesting and crazy to think this is an entirely different reality to mine!" Gaia says happily, gaze turning to you.

 

"Is it entirely different? I've always imagined them as alternate, not necessarily completely different."

 

"Well...I guess not entirely different, but there's a me who isn't me, and Tiffany and Lex are dragons, and who knows what Max is like!" Gaia says happily, clearly lost in the wonder of the reality.

 

"Yes, that's what I'm talking about. However, they are not using a golem. I've overheard from someone form the training area that it's their sixth body."

 

Rineth nods.
"Impressive. Nice to meet you."

"Not doing my job is something to apologize for." Rineth mumbles.

 

"Friends of yours?"

"Nobody got hurt. Don't beat yourself up over it."

 

"Except for Stephanie, I hear..."

 

This seems to hit me hard, as I pause.
"Yeah, but, she's fine."

 

"How bad were her injuries?" Rineth asks, concerned.

 

Pause.
"Well, she's glass now, so pretty bad."
I make a dark joke.

 

"What do you mean, glass?" Rineth asks, concern evident.

 

"Much alike Crystal is a rock, she is glass."
I say, straight.

 

"She's human..." Rineth says, still uneasy.

 

"Until she got stepped on."
Pause.
"Unless I missed something."

 

Rineth's eyes widen.
"Mistress, why did-"
"I was not myself."
"I... I-I made a promise to Ihra! And you tell me the first thing I hear breaks that promise?!" He half-shouts. "
"I'm sorry..."
"I don't want to hear it. J-just... find the group so I can m-move on!"

 

"Don't get mad at her, Rineth."
I suggest, still sounding a bit depressed.
