I advance a little quicker, still checking for anyone.

 

I take the time florfy is wasting (no offense) to rush in with the sharpest energy blade I can find and cleave the statues vertically in half
and then I wrap them in water and freeze it

 

*I cast my protection spell*

*I gather my strength and refocus it all into my arms; not magic, but some kind of spirit ability.
At the same time I cast a strength spell; the combined effects of the two increase my strength to nearly triple its usual power.

Increasing your own strength may not boost the blades durability
how do you know it won't shatter under the sheer force

 

Asgen was trained by a master blacksmith. The metal the blade is made of is an alloy designed to be far stronger than steel, and the materials were hand-picked by Asgen himself. He created a blade he dared call perfect. Afterwards, he infused the blade with magic, making it far stronger than before. There's almost no chance the blade will shatter.

 

So @Bailwolf I guess that after this time I have gathered some forces and we have arrived at Almuj, right? :)
