Please Help - Legendary Does 0 Damage?

Basically I am a level 78 mage using the legendary weapon Ethereal (Level 70) and it usually does around 1k per meteor. However today I tried to do a quest and it was impossible to complete, as I did literally no damage to the boss and he regenerated far quicker than I could do damage..I know I may not have made clear what exactly is the issue I am experiencing. So I made a video to make it more clear (Please help me if you can because I am not extremely experienced with why anything like this would happen) and hopefully I can complete the quest if someone can help me :D


Never had this glitch before and none of my friends know why it's like this

 

if im not wrong thts prob water-earth def
he prob just have too much water-earth def , just use an air/thunder wand

 

USE YOUR GOD DAMN SKILL POINTS!!!!

 

The mob you are fighting has water defence, meaning it won't take much water damage.
Since Ethereal is a water based wand it isn't weird it is not dealing much damage.
Try finding another weapon, like Bob's mythic or anything that does air and/or thunder damage.

What the actual fuck? Why do you have 57 unused skill points?!

 

A: place your skill points because it increases element damage and allows use of new gear
B: it is doing some damage just not enough to overload the boss's Regen
C: do you know what elemental defenses are

 

2k damage is pitiful for a meteor, wtf is your build

EDIT: At level 78 you have a total of 156 SP and he hasn't used 57 of them so that means he hasn't been using his skill points since level 33...

 

More likely he re-attributed his skill points to be able to use Ethereal and didn't bother to reuse them all

 

i remember the good old days when 1.6k damage was a lot

Well people keep finding bugs and exploits while the CT tries to ballance the dmg cause of Garble.
