"Well, either way, her highness is currently away." The guard says bluntly.

 

"No she's not." Emerald replies, equally bluntly. "She's going to hold it above Xlentia's head and I need her to talk it out before she kills Xlentia and Xlentia erases your entire realm."

 

"Well, I don't know what you're definition of 'Away' is, but her highness left the palace not too long ago. I would say I cannot disclose her location, but nobody knows where she's gone." The guard says flatly.

 

"She went to put Xlentia in a voodoo doll and expects leverage. What'll actually happen is that she'll reach out to Tenebrae and erase your queen along with, likely, all of you."

 

"Mmhmm, and I'll be able to fly to the Earth's sun and eat crumpets with the king of light!" The guard says.

 

"Xlentia has killed quattuordecillions and you doubt her agitation and ability?!" Emerald asks, worried.

 

"I doubt her ability to convince our god to erase us, yes." The guard says bluntly.

 

"Your goddess wouldn't be doing the erasure." Emerald sighs.


"Lady Tenebrae? May I have a word about one of your children?" Xlentia asks, on edge.

 

"What is it, Xlentia?" Tenebrae asks, impatient.

 

"Your child is threatening my life with a voodoo doll. She will not appear for peaceful discussion." Xlentia says, starting to lose her patience and composure.

 

"And?" Tenebrae asks, uncaring.

 

"You know the rules regarding my actions. Either help convince her to be willing to talk this out, or you can't hold it against me when I wipe her from existence." Xlentia growls.

 

Tenebrae laughs, "You wipe one of my children from existence without an actual reason, and I'll put them straight back where they were." She says, malice in her tone.

 

"Self defense is a reason and you know it." Xlentia says bluntly. "Don't tell me you broke the pact as well... so much has changed since I was taken."

 

"You were a disgrace to the gods' names in being taken by such a weak fool." Tenebrae says, clearly disgusted with Xlentia.

 

Smiling, I drop the stick, go for another head butt, and try to pull out the kunai, which would result in blood spurting upwards.

 

"I didn't start a dumb war to boost my ego, only to cause a massive tragedy. If you stopped shunning my position, you could've avoided the whole damn mess." Xlentia retorts.

He prevents that with his free hand, working on pinning you to the ground.
"Well, this isn't what I counted on..."

 

I make a growling noise slamming my sword against his backside while shifting my left palm to the ground.

 

"I find it so amusing that someone like you is attempting to argue with me." Tenebrae says, smiling.

 

"I find it so amusing you pretend that your dimension is only timeless thanks to your pact with Chronos and thus me!" Xlentia responds. "You tell your child to talk it out and I'll see to it you don't get exposed to all the attacks on immortals as of late!"
