Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"It would require a lot of forest guardians and a lot of sleepless work growing the flowers, in the very best scenario. I would think, without stressing the guardians and allowing time for rests and events, somewhere between three to six years." Myria explains calmly.

 

"Ah. Well, let's continue."
I say, advancing at a faster pace than before.

 

"I would still give them my blessing... and a vow of protection for them, if you can coordinate such a thing. Just... I'd have to punish smugglers."

"Please make things interesting for me before I literally get bored and shred you." Kyle sighs, grabbing another throwing axe.

 

"I doubt you'll be able to punish them. I'll be asking assistance in this project from the king of Shadows." Myria says calmly.

 

"Questionable methodology, but you're the trainer."
I say, getting close to Kyle.

 

"I like work being cut out for me." Xlentia says, amused.

"You wanted to see how long you could survive."

 

I just smile instead of responding, focusing on fighting.

 

"I hope you realise this won't be free labour, Xlentia." Myria says, concerned.

 

"This isn't my vault, mortal. Tsk tsk..." She says, chuckling.

He hurls the axe extremely fast, rushing in again behind it.
You notice a kunai pop out of his armor.

 

Myria sighs, "I'll speak to the king of Shadows now, see what I can arrange." She says.

 

"Thank you, reincarnated. I appreciate the effort." Xlentia says, curling up again.
"Say... do you need me here, or should I go bird watching in two days?"

 

"I don't think I'll need you here." Myria says, turning and leaving through the portal if it's still present, Artemis following.

 

"Okay. Thank you." She says, Sapphire contemplating going through as well.

 

Onyx looks over Artemis' shoulder at Sapphire as she heads through.

 

Sapphire waves, smiling.

 

Onyx waves a paw before the portal closes, seeming happy.

 

Things go back to how they were post portal.

 

Onyx remains with Artemis, content, as Myria comes to me to arrange a large group of forest guardians to work on growing void flowers.

 

A portal seems to be waiting back to Xlentia's chambers, albeit only monitored by Sapphire.

 

A passing Shadow seems to notice, curiously looking through the portal.
