Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

She just worries about herself, heading home.

 

Alice makes it home easily, the hallway to her front door seemingly empty.

 

"Hello." She says wearily to what she presumes are invisible guards, going inside.

 

"Afternoon." A guards voice replies.

Alice's house is warm, her fireplace lit.

 

She goes to her table, sits down, then ends up just falling asleep on her face.

 

Nothing disturbs Alice through the night, though she wakes up with a rather bad ache in the morning from sleeping on a table.

 

"Ugh..."
She pokes her head outside.
"Can somebody please bring me tea? I need to get a report written like now." She asks, weary.

 

"Very well, Detective Alice." A voice replies.

 

She starts working on writing two copies at once, of transcriptions of conversations, locations marked on the map, names of gangs, and sparing no detail - hold the lewd parts.

 

A cup of tea is slid over to Alice on her table.

 

She downs it pretty quickly.
"Thank you soooo much..." She sighs, using her tail to pick the cup off the table.

 

"No problem, Detective Alice." A voice replies, the cup being taken from Alice once empty.

 

Hours later, Alice brings the two reports into the detective's office and heads to the head detective's office.

 

"Ah, Alice. How's the case?" The head detective asks, looking up.

 

"Here, Boss. King told me to come back early. Six names, two HQ locations, and the site of a gang on gang ambush tomorrow." She says, nervously placing the file on Yxun's desk.

 

Crystal lays down in one, not exactly sleeping but more of just taking a break.

I tune in back to the fight for an update on how it's going.

 

Still a stalemate, both sweating at this point. Neither has let up in precision.

 

Disappointed, I walk away, seeing if there's any way to check the time.

 

"Very good work. I'll have a read over this. You are dismissed." Yxun says, taking the file and starting to read.

 

There don't seem to be any clocks here.

Yxun reads everything but the lewd parts, literally fifty pages worth of notes, observations, and events complete with timestamps.

Alice heads up towards the throne room.
