Warrior/Knight Help Looking For An Earth Melee Build

I don't really know how to start this thread, so...

• I need a level 100 Melee build for my warrior.
• I do not own an Alkatraz, or any other mythic, nor can I afford one.
• Do to the limitation stated above, I can only use Legendary, Rare, Unique and Set Items.
• If possible, please also include powders.

- Fast melee(Tier attack speed) or heavy melee(Taurus)?
- Tank or glass cannon?

 

Ideally i'd like a Fast Tank, but I don't mind something else if that's not possible.

Magnitude (Normal)
Neutral : 76~85 (101~114 with dex)
Earth : 1931~2516 (2472~3221 with dex)

Bizzles (Normal)
Neutral : 58~62 (75~80 with dex)
Earth : 1468~1621 (1943~2146 with dex)

Rikter (Normal)
Neutral : 78~97 (102~129 with dex)

Won't calculate dps cause some people would use more tier attack speed buffs.

Btw no mythic? Why.. Alkatraz is one of the cheap mythics (not for me)

you could use
aries
chestplate of ineptitude (duh)
greaves of (the) veneer
mantlewalkers (hive fire)/master hive boots cause they give the same melee and have no raw -defence but they need more skills then mantle
tisauns honor 2x
bovine cuff
royal dusty
braker with earth powders i guess

i think this would work pretty well with 11631 hp (with min hp greaves and not using master hive boots)

 

This seems like a excellent build for what I want, so I'll start working towards this. I'm still not sure weapon however, as I've never beaten the Orange Wybel. I'll do some research and see which one fits best.

Magnitude is a good substitute for Alkatraz

 

If I use the Gaea-Hewn Boots, wouldn't I have covered the negative fire defence that centipede gives, and then some? I know it's a hit to my defences, especially for a tank build, but it's a sacrifice i'm willing to make for the massive DPS boost.

 

oh yeah you would probably have enough skill points

 

Same build should work too with Magnitude (A unique spear, Best Alkatraz replacement).

Thanks for pointing out the skill points, it was an oversight on my part. I've just done the math, and it can be used with just over average on skill point identifications.

I actually considered this build, and don't get me wrong, it's a good build, but it's too frail for my liking. The -100%+ walkspeed also just seems a bit odd to me. I know why you did it, but since I only own a Black Horse and the build's lack of Mana Regen for Charge spam, I don't think it fits my playstyle.

then dump the rest in str/def

if you're fighting the orange wybel the really slight -water def doesn't matter

 

Braker is Slow tho...

 

He's assuming +2 tier from CoI

 

I thought exhaustion needed like 80 defence
