Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

"Do you know of the name of the gang these Shadows are in?" I ask, slightly concerned.

 

"Multiple. Did I forget the dividers? If they're labelled, that should be the name of the affiliated gang." Alice replies.

There are about eight known gangs, it seems...
None of them seem serious except the Black Dagger, which only has one conversation noted.

 

I read the conversation on the Black Dagger, concerned.

 

It's the shortest.
"Gotta move. Thorns've warned us she listens."
"She damn better believe that's the end of her..."

 

I search through the notes to any hints to the locations of the gangs.

 

There's nothing hinted other than a joint hit on Alice's house, scheduled in two days.

 

"Hmm. Very well, you may stay at the palace under guard's watch. I'll send out a team to stop these gangs, find out their locations and wipe them out." I say officially.

 

"I-is there any way I can salvage my belongings, if they intend to raze my house?" Alice asks, thankful but concerned.

 

"I'll have the team gather everything there, and have it brought to you." I say officially.

 

"Thank you so much, my king." Alice says, bowing down to the ground.

 

"You may leave." I say dismissively.

 

"Um... do you need to keep my notes, your majesty?"

 

"If you want them back, then you may have them." I say, lowering a large hand to Alice, the notes resting on it.

 

Alice takes them, bowing.
"Thank you, your majesty." She says, leaving.

 

Artemis waits outside.

"How did it go?" Artemis asks, smiling.

 

"I'm gonna be allowed to stay in the palace under protection, and my stuff is getting moved here. My stuff is kinda sensitive, though... I'm pretty observant, and did well in school. I just never could get a good job, so I had to live in a concerning part of town."

 

"Really? Well, at least you don't have to worry about any dangers under the palace's protection." Artemis says.

A strong looking guard walks over to Alice.

"Are you Miss Alice?" The guard asks.

Artemis nods to Alice, before heading into the throne room.

 

"Yes, I am." Alice says respectfully.

 

"Come with me." The guard says sternly, walking back the way he came to an elevator. A heavy looking hammer rests on his back, looking like it could easily crush someone in one hit.

 

Crystal continues waiting, but seems to get more impatient as time goes on.
