Guild Perks:

• Be able to directly talk to other traders with similar economic potential (connections with other active traders)
• Have access to the guild shop, which is here (More exposure, more customers)
• Join a discount network

WE WILL NOT DO THE FOLLOWING THINGS:

• Attempt to directly influence the market by mutually agreeing on prices
• Scam others (wynncraft's definition)
• Actively participate in guild wars/territory wars (you might see a battle now and then, but you aren't obligated to attend).

If you do not have enough le, you must own a GOOD shop, or be active in the trade market. PM me if you wish to join this way.

There are also VERY VERY circumstantial exceptions that can be made, if you do not meet ANY of these requirements but still want to join, PM me in game to discuss possible ways of joining.

If you are guild glitched, PM me if you are still interested. (You must be willing to join us as soon™ as the glitch is fixed).

We do trades through guild chat, and other stuff, potentially giveaways, trade deals, special discounts, etc.

You actually are being quite rude by saying that, I recommend you think a bit harder about what you're saying if you think it's acceptable. Further aggressive behavior will be deleted and lead to punishment.

It was an old organization that supposedly funded Ordo Malleus. However, the only "funds" that were given to the alliance were a few LE given to the leaders he liked.

I think their funds were also used in an attempt to bribe guilds into joining the alliance.

 

They also tried to monopolize the market

 

I mean.... I honestly don't get whats with the people hating on my for attempting to make a profit, but this is just meant to be for people who have le and currency to trade whilst actually playing the game and without stalking the forums. It's meant to give people connections in the market, etc. I don't get how you can start a monopoly through a guild but eh.

If you get all the big traders in one guild and they all agree that whites cost 100le now thats what will happen

 

I mean, thats just messing with the market. That's not forming a monopoly, and I don't approve of influencing the market on purpose anyways, so I myself wouldn't allow that.

 

Definition of the word monopoly, relating to economics:

"Market situation where one producer (or a group of producers acting in concert) controls supply of a good or service... Monopolist firms (in their attempt to maximize profits) keep the price high and restrict the output... Most governments (1) therefore try to control monopolies by imposing price controls (2)"

1) I felt this was still valid as only people who have some influence over the market are permitted to join the guild. Owning a good shop, a decent amount of le etc etc.

Ah yes, that thread. I guess in a way, it was a monopoly, but not really. My original intent was to, as stated,

This guild will in no way directly influence the prices of items. That is not what this is meant for.

It is also impossible to monopolize anything in wynn, simply because the supply will always be infinitely higher than the demand.

Yes, but it will never reach the point that there will be more stratis on the market than people buying them, especially if the ids are good

 

I'm marking these words.

Eventually (it may take a long ass time), there WILL be greater supply than demand, thats just how math works.

 

You forget to take into account the server's population increase over time, meaning that as the number of Strati increase, the playerbase will as well. It's a balanced ratio that will maintain Strati's exorbitant cost for a very.. very... very long time.
