Recommend Assassin Builds?

I'm about to do bobs reincarnation and I was wondering what skill points should be invested, what armor and weapons, and accessories

So far I have a reset scroll just in case
Chakram
And that's about it...

 

Bob isn't really one of the bosses to gear up for, but Assassin goes best with Dex/Thunder Items.

 

Ok, what about skill point builds though, like 50 in dexterity.... 50 in agility?

 

im preparing high mama steal and health steal earth/fire ( i think) build
idk if fire will help me ...

 

Focus mainly on aor and thunder
Air more if you wanna be an agile tanky assassin and thunder more if you are a full out damage assassin

 

health steal wouldnt help assassin a lot. you dont get a lot of hits anyway. sure you do AoE but not hits

 

multihit and smoke bomb should steal a lot of mana and health

So do 50 dexterity, 50 agility, and what else? Intelligence? I know that the assassin uses a lot of mana

 

Really builds are up to you, and the diversity of the items are made so that you can mash up your own picks

What I would recommend, however:

Multi-element:
-though this is really mage/archer specialty, weapons like alarazin/crystal s./bob's mythic all encourage this type of build
-Only Qira and bob will be able to resist all of your damage, things with less than 3 resistances (most mobs) will take much more damage than they resist overall
-Weapon is up to you, neutral is one of the three listed above (all have pros and cons), multielement weapon- well I am unsure. I haven't looked too far into it, and am unsure that such a weapon exists for high level assassins. This, however, should not discourage you from using multiple different daggers at once, cycling between different weapons to achieve effective combat. (This would make for an extremely efficient damage output).

Lightning Flame:
-This build has low intelligence and therefore, spells are additional supplement to your main source of damage: melee
-As intelligence is taking a large hit to its stat, multi-hit's effectiveness is not the best
-High mana steal, fast attacking speed, good type combo (as lightning counters water's resistance to fire)

Weapon: Black (Lightning Flame Super Fast Legendary Daggers)
Accessories: (Jester ring + Jester Necklace (with high mana steal)) + bracelet/rings of choice (maybe a black ring?)
Boots: Nether's Scar

Armor:

Regen (more fire) : Leo, Philophilia, Darksteel

Offensive: (more lightning) executioner's helm, haesphestus greaves, choose a chestplate

Pure air assassin: just look at broetinger's archer build only use a weathered dagger as your main weapon

My personal build (still playing around with it, stat requirements are hard to meet):

Pisces Helm (mana regen and melee)
Booster Plate (Speed)
Sagittarius (speed and melee)
Wind Mimic (Speed)

Moon pool circlet (Mana regen)
Jester Ring (Life steal and stats)
Prowess (Stats)
Master (Stats)

Primary: Rewind (Mana regen, Speed)
Secondary: Weathered (High air damage)/Archangel (Speed)/Droplets (High water damage)
Tertiary: Bob's Mythic (Neutral Damage)

High melee, high spell, high speed. Hard to get away from and able to spell spam while simultaneously hitting with massive melee damage.

 

Air and Thunder have worked really well for me, I'm about 70% Air 30% Thunder.

Air really helps with a movement speed boost (Like literal Speed, Movement Speed is quite addictive; switching to a class without it feels super slow). The Assassin's natural Attack boost helps buff the weaker Air weapons, and helps with any Thunder damage you might do.

Thunder isn't too reliable for weapons, due to it's high damage range (I prefer shorter ranges for less luck-based fighting), but it combines very well with Air in terms of Accessories (mainly) and Armour (Don't use Thunder armour too much, as your Air armour will give large movement speed buffs). Thunder Accessories and Armour are known to buff attack speed, and dealing weaker Air damage frequently helps balance it out. This isn't to say you should avoid thunder on weapons completely, because if it comes as a side to Air (or vice versa) then it's still worthwhile, but thunder-only weapons aren't always the most reliable in a pinch, which is what you need for this build.

The problem with this build, however, is you need to be evasive; Thunder and Air aren't known for their toughness, and you won't be the health-iest. If you can keep your distance from enemies and deal strong enough hits, then you'll do very well and go far with this build. Just remember to keep your distance, stock up on health potions and hit hard.

Probably too late to post this, but whatever :P

 

um i do 100 agi and other int so far it's wayyy better than my previous dex build.

i mean this build give me the will to continue playing assassin instead of switching to mage or sth

 

*shrugs* I'm not main Assassin, man.

 

I would go with more dexterity than air, thunder damage will give you a higher dps (damage per second)

 

I am actually a fan of agility for assassin over dex - sorry guys

Weathered builds seem like a ton of fun (or slider)
