Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Stephanie lets the bloodied coins fall around her remains, glaring at Xlentia with white eyes.

 

"Well that's going to give me nightmare fuel." Cecil comments.

 

"Shit... I can't apologize, can I... I wasn't in my right mind..." She sighs, moving her remains (clothes) before relocating her gold, cleaning them telekinetically.

"Shut up, you haven't had any yet."

 

Stephanie grabs a remaining bloodied gold coin, hovering it above her hand, before crushing it into fine gold powder as she turns her hand into a fist, glaring back at Xlentia.

 

"True...I can only hear dreams until a day ago...I think."

(OOC: How long has time passed since we arrived here?)

 

This seems to piss her off.
She shows another stone tablet, etching halfway complete.
"How about we talk instead of fuckin' with my property, missy?"

OOC: Weeks

 

Stephanie disappears, throwing the gold dust toward Xlentia.

"Monster...you haven't changed at all..." Stephanie's voice echoes as her presence leaves the room.

Xlentia notices something shining amongst Stephanie's clothes. Bits of shattered glass and spilt potion lay scattered over her clothes and some of the gold coins, yet mysteriously and miraculously, one of the potion bottles seems to have survived. A small note is attached to the potion bottle's neck, a green-purple liquid inside.

 

This causes her to reel back, ignoring Stephanie's clothes.
"Bitch, what you have against a talk? Guess I won't put your body back together." She sneers. "Haven't changed, huh? No respect for your allies?" She grunts.

 

Crystal seems too mystified at the recent event to reapond to this.
"Was that...?"
"Yeah, it was Stephanie."
I say, turning to Xelentia.
"I apologize for her actions for her."
I say respectfully.

 

"Her friends left her spirit just hanging here? The hell did they fix me up for?"

 

There's no response, Stephanie's presence even unable to be tracked. A few of Xlentia's coins seem to melt, warp, change colour, flip gravity or randomly teleport around when exposed to the various spilt potions, though the surviving potion seems to stand out from the rest.

 

"I'd imagine they're dealing with their own things. I wouldn't be too surprised if they didn't know she's here. Just a little surprised."

 

Xlentia seems furious, picking the note off the bottle as she inadvertantly crushes it.

"Such friends. Can't blame 'em for ditching her if she's always like this."

 

The bottle doesn't spill much liquid as it's crushed, there wasn't much potion left.

The note reads:
"Stephanie,
This potion should help you with your depression. I understand how you're feeling right now, so take a few sips of this potion up to twice a day when you're feeling depressed.
If you ever start feeling worse, just come talk to me.
Sincerely,
Myria."

Judging from the spilt potion, Stephanie seemed to have drank quite a lot of it.

 

"Well, she isn't."
I say, looking at what Xelentia's toying with.

 

Xlentia places a gold coin next to the broken bottle, before turning towards her doors.
"I WANT IN THAT SHADOW REALM!!" She shouts.

A broken bottle.

"Then why won't she talk? If you want to be my friend, don't screw with my stuff! I don't mess with yours, you don't mine."

 

It seems her shout was loud enough to warrant the attention of some Shadows sent to work at the library, as well as a few Guardians.

"Oh no...Xlentia's turned again..." A forest guardian says warily, looking at Xlentia.

"W-We can't let her into our home realm!" A Shadow says fearfully.

"But...what can we do? We're not the palace army!" A water guardian says, petrified at the sight of Xlentia.

"We might not be the palace army, but we are two hundred strong! She can't possibly get past our combined abilities as Guardians and Shadows!" An air guardian says, trying to raise morale.

 

Xlentia glances towards the guardians.
"Huh...? Why're you here? I don't recognize you... or like, anyone else in the hallways."

 

"We're here to stop you from terrorizing the Realm of Shadows, corrupt beast!" A Shadow shouts, gaining the appreciation of her peers.

"We may be weak alone, but together, we're as strong as any palace army!" The air guardian shouts, his speech growing morale in his group.

 

"What? The hell are you talking about?" Xlentia asks, confused. "Didn't your friends just free me? I'm fine! J-just don't... like, try to kill me! What's corrupt about trying to figure out why they keep messing with my stuff?"
