Void Rift (rp) - Intermission

Most glance at her, but one breaks the ice.
"Never seen you before. What was your fate?"

"Hive Master... he took control, didn't he? That damn... ugh... I want to thank you as much as I want to smash you all..."

Xlentia just blinks a few time.
"At any rate... I guess I'll need to apologize to some stubborn mortals, won't I?"

 

"I was crushed..." Stephanie says hollowly, "Voodoo and telekinesis is all I have left..."

Stephanie looks completely normal, not even slightly transparent, however her clothes are slightly torn and she looks at the Ethereal with pupilless, pure white eyes.

 

The Ethereal seems similar, a stab wound through the chest the only clear difference between a living draconian and otherwise.
"Guess mine's obvious, huh. Sorry that happened, but at least it was quick." They console, or at least, are trying to. "That aside, can I help you with anything?"

 

"I was told to ask you how to sustain myself in this form..." Stephanie says, her voice echoing, "Your kind, I mean..."

 

"I heard he did."
I respond.
"And let's please hold off on the latter."
"What's he look like, anyways?"
Crystal asks Xelentia.

 

"Didn't you say voodo? I don't know if separating soul and body from dark arts can be sustained... You may have been better off if you let your spirit drift before it reformed." They reply, concerned. "If anyone knows anything about voodo, it'd be Ruby, but I hear she fell in battle."

"I don't remember... but I'll know when I see him."

 

"My soul is tied to my doll...as long as it is unharmed, my soul is unharmed..." Stephanie says, her voice ominous.

 

"Then my advice is useless. You need only to protect your doll, I'd guess."

 

"I gave it to a trusted friend before I died...I'm sure she'll protect it for me..." Stephanie says hollowly.

 

"Then feel free to kill time here. Eternities fly by with this many books." They offer.

 

"I think I'll explore a bit...but I'll return here if I cannot find my friends..." Stephanie says, before floating through the library doors.

 

"Ask Emerald to open a gate to the shadow realm. Or, maybe you can talk to Mistress now that she's awake."

 

"I think I'll go to the Shadow realm after seeing 'Mistress'..." Stephanie says ominously, before flying through the palace toward Xletnia's chambers.

 

Xlentia seems to be awake, irritated.

 

Stephanie disappears, reappearing on Xlentia's gold pile above where she died and sitting down. Stephanie decides to watch for a bit, contemplating.

 

Xlentia has yet to notice the blood on her gold.

 

Stephanie picks up a bloody gold coin telekinetically, spinning it casually, before throwing it at Xlentia's head, annoyed.

 

This seems to piss her off.
"Who the hell- YOU! TOUCH MY GOLD AGAIN AND YOU'RE FUCKING DEAD!" She screams.

 

Stephanie spins slowly, gathering all the bloody coins around her in twin spirals as she ascends.

 

Xlentia slowly crawls to her belly, furious, before pausing as she sees Stephanie's physical remains.
"I... killed an... oh no... shit, no, no, damnit, please..."
