Hey all, still extremely new to the game. I was wondering what class would be best for soloing the game?

I'm more so a lone wolf, but when I understand the game and all, I might join a guild and group with others, but I personally like playing alone unless i need to group.

Whats the best solo class and why?

Will I be able to solo the game? 1-100?

How long would you say an average player would take to reach 100?

Can players solo endgame content?(whatever it may be)

I'm currently a level 24 archer, however I kinda just wandered around the world not doing any quests, so I'm most likely going to restart a character and do all the quests as I explore.

I was thinking of playing assassin, but It didn't show anything promising, I got around level 12(I know not very high) and the damaged seemed low for being called the deadliest class in the game.

Mage's heal makes it easy but it's damage is bad so you usually can't solo bosses. Assassin is usually the best for killing bosses solo but tends to have low survivability in the long run. Warrior and Archer are kinda in between.

All classes are good for something, but warrior is the best option if you want to melee a strong boss, mage is the perfect option if you want to play safe, is the strongest at the moment, archer is kinda better on PvP than in PvE and assassin is a bit broken now, so atm isn't a good option playing with assassin.

In a lot of ways, that is completely up to your playstyle.

Archer is a glass cannon; it has very high damage and range, although it has the lowest base defense (60%), its basic attack can only hit one mob, and you won't get an area spell until level 21 (bomb arrow). Arrow storm is good at keeping mobs back and/or dealing massive damage against a cornered mob. Escape is arguably the best travel spell in the game, being able to cross huge distances and (w/ its second upgrade) give a speed boost for a few minutes. Bomb arrow is not very mana efficient, but it's archer's main AoE (area of effect) spell; it essentially has the longest range of any spell, and it's capable of dealing damage to quite a lot of mobs...even more so with its final upgrade. Arrow shield costs a relatively high amount of mana (2 more than bomb arrow), but its damage is actually on par with bomb arrow and the impressive knockback it deals might save your life. In terms of survivability, a good reaction time combined with some luck, skill, and potions can take you a long way with archer.

Warrior is almost the opposite of archer - it's got the highest base defense (120%) although its damage and range are both on the lower side. Your spells will focus a lot on knockback and AoE, so you can deal lots of damage to large groups of mobs and keep them back at the same time. Bash is an ok starting spell, although its range (early on) is very short and centered slightly forwards, so it may be a bit of a challenge to hit mobs with both strikes of bash in later upgrades. Charge is, while not the greatest for travel, very fun to use (at least in my opinion). Charge is not very useful for anything other than travel in early-game, but as you unlock new upgrades (especially the level III charge at level 46) it becomes a versatile mobility spell. Uppercut is likely your best source of spell damage as warrior, although it's mana-heavy, relatively slow, and is only at its best once you reach level 56. War scream, meanwhile, is a great utility spell, doing lots of knockback and giving a temporary defense (and later damage) boost. While the class suffers from having trouble dealing with ranged mobs, warrior is impressively tough, and with a good build, you can be surprisingly hard to kill.

Mage seems to be the most popular around here. It's a very different class in a sense, having the lowest base damage (60%) and second-lowest base defense (80%), but having quite a lot of spell capability. You don't get a damage spell until meteor at level 21, so you'll mostly rely on your weaker melee and heal spell until that point. Heal is a spell that can carry yourself and allies very well, and it seems to only become more and more useful as you progress. Teleport is a good all-around mobility spell, although it's hard to use precisely and you're going to get loads of "you can't teleport because of a block" messages. Meteor does very high damage albeit being slow, although that is remedied with its upgrades (meteor II at level 36 vastly improves its falling speed). Lastly, ice snake is a weak spell on its own, but when combined with other spells it can be monstrous due to its ability to "freeze" targets. Your vast spell potential makes it very possible to solo your way through most of the game, although your low defense means you'll want to watch your mana and health to cast the heal spell when necessary.

Assassin, lastly, has a...colorful history in Wynncraft. Starting out as a VIP-exclusive class, it was made available to everyone because of the Minecraft EULA enforcement in mid-2014. Back then, you needed 60 total levels across the rest of your classes to use assassin, but that was removed in the Gavel Update (I think). It's gone on an interesting path of changes compared to the other classes (likely due to its former status as a VIP class), having its multihits spell go from horribly overpowered to useless in the Gavel Update, and then to half-decent. As a class, assassin is based a lot around combos, using spells like spin attack and smoke bomb to control and damage both single targets and crowds. Your starting spell is spin attack, which is actually a good spell, although you'll want to watch out in later levels, as the effect-stealing upgrade will cause you to gain slowness for a short time if you use the spell twice in too quick succession. Vanish is good for small bursts of mobility and the ability to temporarily travel past mobs without being noticed, although your mana and sprint bars tend to drain very quickly. Multihits is not very useful when you first get it, dealing moderate amounts of damage but costing a fair bit of mana and tossing your enemies everywhere (they will sometimes even fly into you during multihits, harming you). Once in later game, however, multihits becomes much easier to control, although it still takes some skill to use correctly. Lastly, smoke bomb is good for slowing your opponents (although the slowness is only unlocked with smoke bomb II at level 46) and comboing with other attacks like your melee and spin attacks. Overall, assassin is arguably difficult to use, but it can be deadly if played right. You'll have to be a little careful in the process, but with assassin you can shred through nearly any mob's health.

Everything should be soloable except for the quests Bob's Lost Soul & Reincarnation, where you need two other people to help open the tomb. Just keep in mind that some bosses are designed to be done in a party, so they'll be very hard to solo.

It took me two years to get my first level 100, but it's possible to reach level 100 in maybe under a month if you're very experienced, dedicated, and (possibly) have prepared the entire journey beforehand. It largely depends on how you feel on grinding late-game (and how much time you have on your hands). I'm going to guess anywhere from four months to two years for your first level 100, but for every level 100 you achieve, the next one becomes slightly easier.

Except for Bob's Tomb as I stated above, everything should be possible to solo. The only bosses I haven't been able to solo yet myself are the Corrupter of Worlds (from the Temple of Legends quest, though as a side note, I'm talking about the Corrupter after the Gameplay Update, I've soloed it before then), Qira (from the Qira Hive), and the Orange Wybel.

As I said above, assassin was once VIP-exclusive and wasn't entirely centered around balance. Its multihits spell used to do 100% damage per hit, which made it the most powerful spell in the game by a lot. After the Gavel Update, multihits was fixed/nerfed to 15% per hit, which made it almost pathetically weak. It was recently buffed to ~25% per hit, however. Vanish would be the other point of controversy - it was widely regarded as a terrible spell due to its mana drain kicking in before you could move any reasonable distance. Thankfully, it was given its little charge-jump when you first vanish, which makes the spell at least usable.

Any boss can be solo'd with the right equipment build and skill, when you get to around lv 90, it is time to start to make a build. If you need help making a build go to the class build's section at at least Lv 80 and ask for help.

I have made a build as an assassin that allows me to solo Wybel, Qira, and all other bosses without any potions or mythic's. Which is not easy to do with out becoming a slow tank. So basically anything is possible to solo.

Your ability to solo is mainly dependent on the items you have, but if you ever need a mage to heal you or a bit of help go to server 1 Detlas and you can get help.

Listen, simple: You can do all of those things in all of the classes, there are strong af players: from mages to assassins. Just choose your playstyle. for me it took around a year to get to my corrent level (97) on my main mage, but that's cause I enjoyed the road. I didn't rush everything, I just liked wondering around getting the wynn experience. Some people can get to level 100 in less than a week. I think you'll be doing great by finding out about stuff along the way
